Considering the discription of the "TR-3B" propulsion/power plant... Accelerating murcury (mass) at relativistic speeds would produce insane
amounts of heat and other radiation, no? How does this vehicle mitigate that? Intense EM fields, as is proposed in fusion/plasma engines perhaps?

Maybe they don't actually accelerate it to relativistic speeds to achieve the effect?
As for the similarities in description/concept between the General and Lazar, that is interesting. Different designs/models but enough similarities
in what may be the critical components for operation? Just as a model T had an engine, steering wheel, and tires so too does a Ferrari.
