I'm not a left wing nut, but a lot of what Tulsi has to say makes sense to me.

I *completely* agree with her statement re: gas fuel powered cars. They're dinosaurs and have been obsolete on many levels for years. But the carmakers in Detroit as well as foreign car makers have a very large vested interest in riding this wave until it crashes on the rocks.

We should have had a little vision and a lot of guts and subsidized (to some degree) all of the fuel station companies to go hydrogen in a big way.
There's a big upfront cost involved to re-tool or at the very least offer a few pumps for Hydrogen. I think the other thing that scared the bejesus out of the oil companies is they had no idea how to price it and sell it. You can make an argument the stuff is already everywhere - it should be very cheap, but there are ongoing support costs including the HR costs for the people to pump it - at least in the beginning. Self-serve will take a while.

The hydrogen engines of today have all the HP anyone would need.

And the only waste product is good old H2O - water.

But money talks and bullsh#t walks as the saying goes.

And people just sit in the middle of the discussion and just bleat away like the sheep that we are.

Like bernie. bernie and the squad make the dems a regional party not a national one. As much as some might like it, socialism will remain upside down in the polls for at least another couple generations.
