I'm suggesting that you might look at the "con" rather than the "pro."

What "con"? Has it been suggested that anything illegal occurred?

According to the men themselves and their lawyer Dowd.

Boy that is stretching it rather far... We are talking 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon to figure out who is on Trump legal team.

?

How so?
Dowd (Trump's lawyer from the Special Counsel probe) is representing these men.
In response to a congressional Subpoena last week asking these men for documents concerning Ukraine, Dowd responded that these men "“assisted Mr. Giuliani in connection with his representation of President Trump.” AND inferred their work was "privileged" even though they are not Attorneys.

Apart from a ridiculous legal argument, it is a declaration that these men considered themselves working for the President via his Attorney Rudy.

Rudy has said he employed these men for work involving the President.
The men have said the same as well as their attorney.

This is not an open question.

Did you read the letter from Dowd, the men's attorneys? Or Statement from Rudy? Or the indictment?

It has been more than suggested.

The men have been indicted/charged with money laundering, facilitating foreign campaign contributions etc.

We also know that there are several open and related investigations and investigators would have waited until they could finish other investigations of other associated individuals before arresting them if not for the fact that they were leaving the country with one way tickets aka potentially fleeing.

ONGOING Grand Jury (Criminal) investigation:

Example
Former U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions subpoenaed by grand jury investigating Giuliani and associates
The subpoena seeks records about Sessions’ dealings with Rudy Giuliani and two business associates who had been helping Giuliani investigate Joe Biden.

Ahem...

Has it been suggested that anything illegal occurred with respect to Rudy Giuliani.

But I'm quite sure you knew I meant Rudy.

I'm also quite sure, but will point out, when I say 'suggested', I mean anything of substance, not just CNN talking heads yammering about blatherings.

Right. Born in soviet republics at the time now American Citizens.

Laundering illegal campaign contributions through shell companies to American Politicians via wire transfers on behalf of "Russian Foreign National -1"

So far we know a handful of the recipients of the money:

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (50K)
Former Congressman Pete Sessions
Florida Senator Rick Scott (20.4k)
US Rep. Brian Mast, FL
Several state level Pols in Nevada (Some side gig to open a pot dispensary)
Trump Super Pac America First (Irony here - Russian Oligarch money funding "America First") (325k)
RNC
Trump Campaign
Trump's Personal Attorney Rudy Giuliani (500K)

They were at Trump's invite only inaugural party.
They held fundraisers for Gov. DeSantis.
Member of Trump Jr.s Steering Committee for fundraising.

More and more is coming out.

Yes. Rudy might be the actual TARGET of the Grand Jury investigation according to many sources.

At the very least Trump's Personal Attorney has been on the payroll of Russian Officials with payments of at least 500k made through obvious shell companies, the open question is whether the Grand Jury has evidence Rudy was aware of where the money originated.

If Rudy claims he was paid 500k for legitimate work for the shell company "Fraud Guarantee", then he should have no problem providing the Grand Jury documentation or evidence of the work provided and "Fraud Guarantee" can provide evidence of the work as well...or any evidence at all that they had any business apart from moving money for an unnamed Russian.

That combined with Rudy running a Shadow Ukraine Diplomacy with these two guys help with a Trump Campaign agenda of manufacturing dirt on Trump's political opponents? Rudy is in very big legal trouble IMO.

The Grand Jury Subpoenaed Former Rep. Pete Session just yesterday.
These two guys arrested don't appear like they are the "silent type" either.

It is a fact that they worked with Giuliani on the Ukraine nonsense for Trump.

Mr Parnas, born in Ukraine, and Mr Fruman, a Belarus native, accompanied Mr Giuliani in his capacity as Mr Trump’s personal lawyer on visits with Ukrainian officials.

www.ft.com...

Parnas was also on Don Jr.s Steering Committee for fundraising and worked with Don Jr. to organize fundraisers for FL Gov. DiSantis.

Parnas was listed on the invitation as a member of the Donald Trump Jr. Executive Steering Committee,

www.tampabay.com...

Don Jr. at least looks like he might one day regret this picture of him with the two. LOL

Is Dowd still Trump's lawyer? All I know is these committees keep throwing crap against the wall to see what sticks in trying align anything wrong that they can with Trump. We are talking like 100s of throws, so that kind of makes people desensitizes to it all even if at some point something finally sticks. On a side note I don't think anyone in politics or the super rich can withstand what Trump has gone through, so what is too much and over the top here?

I say have at it, and if it is truly a viable connection with Trump making the calls then so be it, but I'm thinking the only connection is what old Rudy might have suggested unreliable comments that can be anything since we all know he has a tendency to say all kinds of things, even things that are not in Trump's favor without really trying to do it.

Just for clarity..
This is not a committee.

This is Grand Jury investigation and Federal Indictments. DOJ.

Congress did subpoena these guys, but their attorney Dowd said since they were working with the "President's Attorney" on "Behalf of the President" there were "Privlidge" issues and they would not respond to the congressional Subpoena.

It intersects with the impeachment inquiry with these guys working for the Trump Campaign via Giuliani according to their attorneys.
They were also funded by a "Russian Foreign National" and paid Rudy 500k of those funds.

It's getting pretty funny to read the right-wing around here..."Nothing to see"
