I admit it doesn't look great...

But I'll wait and see how the story fleshes out.

So, you mean Rudy was a lobbyist? Like thousands of other lawyers in the Swamp?

Would what Rudy did be considered to be working as a foreign agent?

I don't even know if anything he has done would be considered illegal, but as an outsider, the whole thing stings of the swamp.

It does not matter because this hit job against Giuliani is not going anywhere.

The ATS trash bin is full of threads accusing people in President Trump's orbit of wrongdoing.

99% of them turned out to be absolutely nothing, just like this one will be.

They paid his firm for legal services. Unless he violated US law in the advice he gave them hes fine. The worst that could happen is he get disbarred if he advised them how to violate the law.

In other words hes fine the issue seems to be a 20k payment to a former Representative Pete Sessions, Republican of Texas. Mr. Sessions, then the chairman of the powerful House Rules Committee. Seems congress is just filled with influence peddling.

Guilliani's firm was hired and paid $500k for legal advice.
The people who hired him allegedly committed a campaign violation 2 years earlier.

What else is there?

Is it illegal for lawyers to charge fees now?

President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani said he was paid $500,000 for his work at a company co-founded by an associate who was arrested on campaign finance charges.

Arrested by who?

Giuliani told Reuters that Fraud Guarantee, Lev Parnas’s Boca Raton, Fla.-based company, took on Giuliani Partners as a management and security consulting firm around August 2018. Giuliani was hired to consult with the company and provide legal advice.

Lawyers charging fees for legal advice.

Giuliani also said he received two payments within weeks of each other but did not say when they were made.

Payment for the fees where received within weeks of each other. Is that uncommon?

These are the same two that have been indicted on Money Laundering charges and working with Rudy for access to the President and constructing the Biden-Ukraine narrative etc.

How did they Launder the money? Did he also have a kid that was kicked out of the military, yet got an honorable discharge, that had no knowledge of the business he sat on the board of? That has worked in the past, it still could I guess.

According to an indictment unsealed by U.S. prosecutors, an unidentified Russian businessman arranged for two $500,000 wires to be sent from foreign bank accounts to a U.S. account controlled by Fruman in September and October 2018.

Indict.
formally accuse of or charge with a serious crime.

Who indicted Lev Parnas?

was rudy the potus "personal attorney" then?
i would wager not
nice attempt to smear the potus by association tho

YES? yes, he was POTUS personal attorney then.

Time for you to move on to a new line of BS defense.

In April 2018, Giuliani became one of President Trump's personal lawyers.

Four months before the 500k payment.
