Yeah that's his job. He came in saying he was going to drain the swamp. He can't exactly send US investigators to another country to investigate so he asks their leaders to do so.

It's not corrupt to investigate corruption. It is corrupt to ask someone investigating corruption involving your sons company to be fired.

Romney is actually a long time Republican.

- Donald Trump registered with the Republican party in 1987.
- Donald Trump left the Republican party and registered with the Independence party in 1999.
- Donald Trump was a Reform party candidate for the Presidency for three days in 2000.
- Donald Trump left the Independence party and registered with the Democratic party in 2001.
- Donald Trump left the Democratic party and registered with the Republican party, in 2009.
- Donald Trump left the Republican party and marked the box "I do not wish to enroll in a party" in 2011.
- Donald Trump endorsed Mitt Romney (Republican) in his run against Obama.
- Donald Trump, during his 2016 campaign, repeatedly attacked other Republican party presidential candidates
- Donald Trump has attacked and opposed the Republican party leadership such as John McCain and Paul Ryan.
- Donald Trump has attacked Republican party incumbents such as Jeff Flake and Dean Heller.

Trump is the RINO.

And this is why Trump is a Republican only in name. He has nothing to do with conservatism or any of the traditionally Republican views.

Conservatives uphold and protect the Constitution. With that said, conservatives traditionally stand up for and protect ALL religions. True conservatives cringe at what is going on today and the continual attempts at muslims and equating them all with terrorists. Conservatives stand up for all, even muslims.

Conservatives stand up for the Constitution and property rights. A conservative would never in a million years say to aides to just "take the land" and "get it done". No way, Jose. Property rights of Americans are sacred.

Conservatives are very fiscally... ummm, conservative. A true conservative would never be so non-chalant about ballooning debt and would never simply not even talk about it.

Conservatives are ALL about free trade and free markets. Government overreach and tariffs are not only not in the same ballpark. It's not even the same game, as they say.

Conservatives are ALL about individual liberty and personal rights. An AG working for a conservative president would never ask private companies for full access to personal data. That is just so deep-state, I don't even think more needs to be said on this.

There is very, very little actually conservative or republican about Trump. Except that he says he is and for some reason some people choose to believe that. And the Republican party is now umbilically attached to Trump, who is not even a true Republican, and the fate of the whole party is linked to him. It's just really disappointing that it got this far.

You got me thinking … and searching a little deeper, and I came across this little interview:

twitter.com...

So maybe Obama was indeed the culprit?

Trump wasn't elected because he was a lifelong republican. He was elected because he didn't seem to be bound by the ties most politicians are. (nobody seemed to own him)

But as we see with the dems now, most are owned and do plenty of crimes to get what they want. And when we clean up the asshole left, we can move on to the asshole right. I'm sure you will be cheering for corruption to be removed......well, at least once it starts on the right, you will likely find ways to hide the left's crimes as the lack of integrity is now a way of life.

Despite the allegations and subsequent investigations, there still aren't a slew of convictions. Mightn't that inform you that what you have been led to believe are just lies?

What happened to the second Horowitz FISA investigation report, now it's been over and the report released for months? Shouldn't there be something other than absolute silence?
