What if we exclude non-combatant jobs and only take combat positions???


I agree completely concerning the spectrum of people who join the entire military , I just don’t think many of them sign up for special forces or infantry type jobs..

If your only their for the scholarship, your only going infantry if you have no other choice..

Imagine how hard it is to find a good leader when that is your only requirement???


Now imagine you have to find someone who is not only a good leader, but also an extremely proficient warrior...


And just for the record, and I think the historical record would agree with me no matter popular opinion says, but extremely good warriors are rarely good people..


I’m not saying none has ever been... but on average getting both of those things in one package is VERY HARD.

I bet great warriors who were actually good people would be way faster lol..

Hell I went to high school at Camp Shelby for 6 months as part of a recruiting deal, and absolutely met garbage officers in that time period..


Hell one was discharged for being garbage..


Were most garbage, absolutely not... but some were and you said none..

No you weren’t . You were launching broad accusations at fine young people that serve in our military. Like my nephew and his buddies quite a few I know on a personal basis .

This is what you claimed .....
