Climate Activists tend to leave a huge enviornmental mess whenever they protest, why?

I was reading the news today and saw an article about the mess climate activists left at a protest. That got me to thinking, I think I've seen this type of article before and it is a trend among people who want to save the environment when they protest. It is just beyond me how they justify it.

The article I read this AM did have a "justification", but the others I googled, to be sure I wasn't mis-remembering, confirmed what I thought I have seen over and over.

It seems to me that young people (of every generation - happened when I was young too) - tend to protest things they find are wrong with society, the country, the world, etc. But think that they are exempt from and above having to do what they demand others do or don't do.

I find this hypocritical attitude is abandoned by many as they grow into maturity (starting at age 25 if one believes brain science).

However, the more entitled the person (through wealth, power, position) the idea that they can lecture others for doing what they say is wrong, but exempt themselves due to their superiority and a feeling of entitlement becomes entrenched.

Example: All the people who fly in private jets to climate conferences. All the people who have multiple mansions (not just a second beach/mountain cottage) but multiple mansions who rage about how people shouldn't water their lawns (while theirs are beautifully maintained), about wasting electricity (while their mansions use lots every day). They are the ones who are prominent in the environmental movement and they are setting the entitlement mentality, everyone else must do what I say, but because I am special, I protest and give money to the cause, I can do what I want.

Some are actually going to protest for something they believe in. Others are just followers and don’t give a crap.

People that hate hypocrites see it as such. It has nothing to do with right or left.

How many times do we see celebrities tell us not to use straws, then fly away on their private planes. The rich
telling us to conserve water as they water their 100 acres of lawn.

I'm neither right or left, and to tell you the truth I probably protect the environment more than both sides.
Most people are too silly to even know what harms the environment and what makes a big impact or not. In the overall scheme of things shipping cargo ships cause massive pollution. What do you want to bet 99% at these rallies and such wear and use such foreign goods? How many of these people will yell in your face about a straw then go home and order stuff off of Amazon?

Because they were paid to protest and agitate... not clean up afterwards!

As to the Protestors, they simply have no respect for anything.

As for the Jet Set, environmentalism is simply a business model.

I rather people make themselves look good by actually doing something measurable and actionable than simply marching and holding up protest signs to make themselves look good.

This is because they're dumb and/or immature & they don't understand how the world actually works yet, especially when it comes to leftist MSM propaganda. I was the same way when I was a teen listening to Bill Nye & Al Gore back in the mid to late 90s. I even supported Obama at one time. Now I'm a Trump supporter. There's a saying that goes something like "If You Are Not a Liberal at 25, You Have No Heart. If You Are Not a Conservative at 35 You Have No Brain". I believe this saying holds true.

16 superfreighter ships produce more emmisions vs all the automobiles in the world combined. There are over 50,000 freighter ships. These ships run on dirty bunker oil with zero emmisions standards. These ships transport consumer goods, including green energy goods like batteries & solar panels from unregulated China, as well as, hybrid/electric vehicles from Japan & Germany. In China, where cellphones, batteries & solar panels are manufactured, the land is so polluted plants can't even grow there, making the planet less green. If you truly care about the environment you will stop using goods manufactured in China & start only using goods produced domestically, preferably locally.

A person who owns a 20-30 year old domestic gas guzzling V8 pickup truck has a smaller carbon footprint vs a person who buys or leases a new import vehicle every 3-5 years, including hybrid & electric vehicles. Same with someone who keeps a smartphone for 5 years instead of buying a new one every 1-2 years.

I wonder the same thing as well. They're complaining about destroying the planet and that we should take care of it yet they always leave litter and trash behind. I mean shouldn't they pick it up and clean as they go? Isn't that what they're preaching about in some ways?

I find most protesters only doing it because it's the in thing to do at the time. Then they move on to the next big thing to protest.

Did you read the articles. One is by the Huffington Post, a super left leaning publication. Same with the LA Times, very very left leaning.
