Good luck.

CNN says it's Trumps fault (big surprise)
TheBlaze says it was Obama's (big surprise)
The CIA claims it never happened (probably doesn't want to admit they had a Russian asset or look embarrassed, again, big surprise)

Sounds like a whole bunch of people playing political football with this one.

So you believe it's all Fake News. TheBlaze, CNN, the NY Times, Fox News, the Washington Post, the CIA... If all of it is fake, I'm perplexed at why you are taking the time here.

Anyhow, care to state what you actually think the reality is instead of circumventing the topic to moan about news sources? If not, please stop posting in the thread, adults are trying to have a discussion.

I think the CIA said it was the media scrutiny. They won't reveal names though.

No, that's not what I'm saying.

The story may very well come from something, and there are different facets to it.

The original story is the CNN one that the spy got extracted... That story got repeated by many who were sourcing the CNN, I haven't seen another that claims to have their own sources on the matter. So that story is basically the same source, CNN. We don't know if it's true because we don't know who the sources are. But each outlet is trying to put their spin on it.

The counter story is all based off of the CIA, who denied it, as they would anything regarding a secret asset.

The whole thing is a speculative mess, which is my end opinion that you asked for.

Well a couple things.
The blaze is a sketchy source and you should have put more links in the original op.
They have a bad record for fact checking and are right biased.

And I always felt Obama was not qualified to have the job and his leadership proved me right. He likely had no clue what was going on.
So it's either deliberate or incompetence.
Neither would surprise me.

We agree on point number two. Greatly disagree on your first point.

I tend to think Obama was smarter than most, even on left, gave him credit as being. He was, and is, a duplicitous individual that was, and still is, hell bent on depriving American power in the world while giving more power to the socialist authoritarian types he holds close to his heart.

The thread here is just one more piece of evidence that supports that opinion of him.

Yup, you're right. I read the statement by their PR rep wrong. They denied the circumstances behind CNN's story, not that it happened.

That was on me.

And everyone except CNN it seems agrees they tries to extract him in 2016. Trump amazing time travel abilities.

The CIA didn't deny the exfiltration effort. They simply referred to it as "alleged exfiltration". What they did categorically deny is CNNs report that the alleged exfiltration efort was caused by Trump missteps:

"CNN's narrative that the Central Intelligence Agency makes life-or-death decisions based on anything other than objective analysis and sound collection is simply false," agency spokeswoman Brittany Bramell said. "Misguided speculation that the President's handling of our nation's most sensitive intelligence — which he has access to each and every day — drove an alleged exfiltration operation is inaccurate."

Edit:
I see you already came to that bit above while I was posting this.

Yup and as occasmsrazor said they alleged it was a reporter who blew it and not someone in the government.

Let's see where this goes. So far we're batting a whopping .000 when it comes to arrests and justice actually being served.

Say it with me guys: "this time will be different, this time will be different, this time will be different!". Maybe if we repeat it enough it'll actually come true. Who cares if it has yet to work, hope springs eternal! 😂

No it won't be, because no one cares about justice, they care about 'winning' and making the other side pay.

America would be better served getting rid of parties and being defined by policies, not parties.

In hindsight, Obama really was the modern Wooden Horse of Troy for the American future.

The Trojan POTUS - their perfect puppet.

And unless Trump really starts to challenge the status quo, both parties will see their Trojan white night back to back.

Terrorists being armed? Check.

The rich getting even richer with a permanent tax break? Check.

Partisan BS dominating the airwaves regardless of what source you look at? Check.

The MIC getting stronger? Check.

No one important going to jail for their crimes? Check.

The status quo hasn't changed at all. But the media attacks Trump on a daily basis so he's different! Right? Lol.

Well, that's quite sad. I expected someone here would be interested in an intelligent dialogue but it seems drivel is all that is in demand. Sad state of affairs. As for tax cuts making the rich richer, sure. They pay the vast majority of the taxes. Everyone else is also richer as a result as well. The two can occur simultaneously. Not a fixed pie.

After CNN helps President Trump win re-election, the government should shut them down.

Excellent idea...

We should also establish an agency that monitors media outlets to make sure they're "approved".

Maybe we can get a list of government approved talking points.

The precedent was set when we started placing limitations on peoples ability to exercise their 2nd amendment right.

However, I'd gladly settle for a certain amendment to Smith-Mundt being reinstated.

Are you unaware of the ever-growing wealth gap in America? A loaf of bread costs the same whether you're a billionaire or homeless.

Why couldn't we get the permanent tax break instead of the already obscenely wealthy? The temporary middle class tax cut was nothing more than a way to justify the establishment's permanent one. Nothing more than icing on top of a # pie to make it palatable for the masses.

And here we are forgetting that the obscenely wealthy are the ones bribing our politicians for political favors. They got their favor in the tax cut, lobbying money well spent.

Keep in mind the repeal of the smith mundt act took a vote before it was signed by the potus...they are all guilty

Just curious

How come anytime anyone posts showing corruption from the deep state or Obama admin you claim they are parroting corrupt media?

But the issues you are concerned with like parroting the media on tax cuts or wealth disparity is apparently ok?
