The arguement back in the day was Fox didn't have the clout of others. So when the Obama admin went after James Cohen, it was a cause for concern. We could agree Fox was a pundit network, but none the less, it's the same admin that brought back propogands.... So we should automatically side with journalists (pundits) and whistle blowers because that's out last defense.

Ironically, the left may not have supported Obama on this, but they defended him along with the DNC, as they do to this day for the sake of winning.

And this thread is evident of the inverse.

If you think any of the mainstream media outlets are different beyond what bias they have you're a fool. CNN or MSNBC fan call out anyone they want but making accusations in such an on the record and public on air manner opens them to lawsuits if they can't prove what they say is fact...sorry but thats life here in the US...works the same for everyone as long as you can afford the lawyer.

Not sure where to go from there... The ball is where do we go if we give federal government control of our speech. I don't like MSNBC or Fox. They are both pundit networks that deliver what their bases want curtailed to them. But their speech is as important as whistle blowers, comedians, and extremist groups like the KKK and ANTIFA. While I disagree with the two latter groups, the whole of them abrasively question the lines in the sand. And when any of them lose ground, so do we. And each incident is precidence for your own dimise once their game of tug of war beings the flag past the middle.

I’ve had their app for a lil while now and have watched them on TV a couple of times. It’s good we have another news network that doesn’t lean as blatantly left as most and as far right as FOX but it’s still a right leaning network. I’m so sick of sides and the feeling of having to commit to one side or the other and having to sift through all the propaganda BS from both. FFS I just want to know what happened today without all the left and right nonsense. Is that really so hard to do? Apparently so,LOL.

I really miss real journalists doing the news such as Ted Koppel and Paul Harvey. Even though Harvey was a conservative, I think he was very fair with his bias to both left and right.

Koppel said opinion is now clearly evident in what are supposed to be straight news stories.

This is a commentary from 1965 that Paul did. He was scarily accurate with most of what he said. Very worth a couple of minutes of your time.
