This again?

he was found innocent. enough of these conspiracy theories. he is not going to jail, and either is Hillary

Comey was not found innocent... Are you people really that stupid or do you actually think that by Comey, McCabe, etc politicizing the FBI to spy on the political opposition and trying to depose the duly elected POTUS with lies is okay and dandy?... For crying out loud Nixon did less than what these aholes under Obama have been doing and he had to resign in disgrace...

James Comey was appalled by Trump asking him at a dinner to go easy on Flynn.

So appalled that he created a memo of the conversation, because he knew he may have to release it at some day so people could see how serious this was.

So for him to be so appalled, Flynn must have committed a serious crime.

That crime was supposedly lying to the FBI.

Covertly acting as an Foreign Agent of Turkey while serving as the Chief National Security Advisory to the President, plus repeatedly lying to the FBI about conversations with Russia's chief spy recruiter Kislyak.

I think Comey had cause to be alarmed the President was asking him to cease investigating Flynn.

Even the agents who interviewed Flynn said they did not think he was intentionally lying to them.

Just one of many lies and inaccuracies you have littered your OP with.

"the agents . . . discerned no physical indications of deception. They didn't see any change in posture, in tone, in inflection, in eye contact. They saw nothing that indicated to them that he knew he was lying to them."

FBI agents "did not detect any deception during Flynn's interview."

Being a good liar and not lying intentionally are two very different things.

Flynn has admitted to repeatedly lying to investigators both about his conversations with Kisylak as well as
"other false statements regarding Flynn's contacts with foreign governments,"
which no doubt refers to him being on the payroll of Turkey.

Collins asked Comey who outside the FBI did he show these memos. Comey says one guy and says why.

That is a lie. He showed memos to three people, as the IG report shows.

Comey never "says one guy " THAT claim of yours is what a lie looks like.

please cite where he says that?

He explains why he showed it to the man who shared it with the press.

He doesn't ever say that was the only one.

Collins never says "did you share it with anyone else", she just moves on to another question.

Where did he say one guy?
She asks if he gave it to Whitts. He says no he gave it to a friend who is a professor at Columbia.
No where does he say "I only gave it to one guy and heres why"

He did not plead guilty because his son was in trouble.
His son committed crimes he could have been charged with.
Flynn committed crimes other than lying and he could have been charged with those.
He was offered a deal and pled guilty to the least charge they could lay on him as long as he cooperated.
He did.
And Mueller wanted to let him off with no jail time because he did.
He has still not been sentenced.
I dont think the judge is as willing to let this guy off as Mueller was.
But in no way is this some innocent man who was railroaded. He is guilty.

If I ask you who all you showed something to, and you only mention one person, but you showed it to others as well

You lied

That’s what comey did

So otherwise you lied when you claimed "Comey says one guy"?

Impossible to consider this OP credibly when it's author lies to argue their case.

I didn’t say he said the words “one guy “

He said what I quoted him as saying in the op, which is he told one guy because he woke up worried from bed

He was asked who all he told, and he only mentioned one guy, which was willfully misleading a member of congress which is a crime

I get your need to call me a liar because you need to defend this corruption though

Where in the following transcript does Comey "say one guy"? HE DOESN'T
Where does Susan Collins ask "who all he told"? SHE DOESN'T

Where does Collins ask, "did you share the Memos with anyone else"? SHE DOESN'T
Where does Comey say that the Professor was the only one he shared the Memos with? HE DOESN'T

COLLINS: Finally, did you show copies of your memos to anyone outside of the department of justice?

COMEY: Yes.

COLLINS: And to whom did you show copies?

COMEY: I asked — the president tweeted on Friday after I got fired that I better hope there's not tapes. I woke up in the middle of the night on Monday night because it didn't dawn on me originally, that there might be corroboration for our conversation. There might a tape. My judgment was, I need to get that out into the public square. I asked a friend of mine to share the content of the memo with a reporter. Didn't do it myself for a variety of reasons. I asked him to because I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel. I asked a close friend to do it.

COLLINS: Was that Mr. Wittes?

COMEY: No.

COLLINS: Who was it?

COMEY: A close friend who is a professor at Columbia law school.

COLLINS: Thank you.

You just made up a bunch of things that are not in the transcript.

For someone that purports to value honesty, your OP appears very dishonest.

I quoted the exact transcript

I then reported what it said

I now one such as you that seeks to cheer deep state corruption seeks to defend this, but you are wrong

When Collins asks who did you give this too, she means who are all the people you gave this two

When he says, my friend (one guy, as I put it) he is intentionally misleading. I didn’t say he said quite “one guy”. I said his answer was one guy, which it was

He admits this when he tells the ig he specifically didn’t mention the other two because they were his lawyers

Again, this is a far bigger lie and deception than what Flynn told

Only a cheerleader for corruption would think it’s acceptable to answer who all did you give this info too and to only answer one of the people

Congrats on a good effort though

It was a mistake to let him off the hook
-snip-
All Barr did was show how pathetic he is, and that even with clear criminal behavior he lets people off the hook
-snip-
Even if Barr later charges comey with something, he has set a clear example that it is ok to leak classified material to hurt trump, and to lie to congress about it

You are wrong on this one Grambler.

Charging him with something that there is a 99.9% chance he would be acquitted of is simply not smart.

He will be tried in a DC court, with a DC (vastly more left than most places), and you want him to be prosecuted for something he is guaranteed to beat?

The lying/leaking case is a loser, to quote Bongino.

Prosecuting losing cases is not a smart thing to do.

Now...

Let's say Barr is going after him with a slam dunk, open/closed case, that there is a good chance that even a leftist DC jury will convict on. There is nothing to prevent Barr from tacking these lying/leaking charges on as additional charges, thereby dramatically improving the chances of a conviction on all of them.
