White House senior adviser Stephen Miller says they're getting closer to an Executive Order that will stop the Anchor Baby onslaught !!

Anchor Babies are people born in the U.S. to foreign born non U.S. Citizens, often illegal immigrants.

The general "accepted" assumption is that anyone born on U.S. soil is automatically a Natural Born Citizen.

Some loose court cases have generally upheld all claims in the past.

Seem the 14th Amendment is the Mainstay.

Lots of arguments over the entire mess.

Now what ?

White House senior adviser Stephen Miller says President Trump is currently reviewing “all legal options” to end the country’s birthright citizenship policy which has allowed millions of illegal aliens to secure American citizenship for their U.S.-born children.
Last week, Trump told the media is he “very seriously” looking at signing an executive order that will end birthright citizenship in the U.S., calling the policy “frankly ridiculous.”

During an interview with Fox News’ John Roberts, Miller said the White House is, in fact, reviewing “all legal options” to end birthright citizenship where an average of about 300,000 U.S.-born children of illegal aliens — often referred to as “anchor babies” — are born every year. According to the Fox News interview

"Anchors Away Muchachos !!!"

Boy...that would...that would just be great.

About time America catches up with all the other enlightened countries in the world and assigns citizenship of children based on the status of their parents.

It’s about damn time.

It's best for everyone.

We have to close the loophole.

No more babies being thrown over the border like footballs in order to claim citizenship. Just so they can be used to drag over 40 immediate family members through #ty chain migration laws.

Why does it take 2+ years to do something so basic? Maybe THE LAW is in the way and a way around it needed to be figured out.

When I was in the Navy, girls in other countries wanted us (U.S. military) to get them pregnant. I don't recall exactly why, but it had something to do with U.S. citizenship.

Honestly, I don't blame those taking advantage of poor policy.

Put yourself in her shoes.

If you were a 25 year old girl about to give birth to her 10th child and had the ability to run a few miles and drop that youngin on the soil of the greatest country the universe has ever seen, and by doing that you would literally "win" a lifestyle that 99 percent of the world could only dream of...wouldn't you run for the border?

This whole debacle is on the hands of the traitors within our own country, not the ones outside it that seek to exploit it.

I grew up being taught that if you born here you’re a citizen. All my life I thought that was fair and took pride in it .

But never anticipated these types of numbers .

Section 1.
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Bold is mine.

I'd have to say, on the face of it, that this move would be unconstitutional.
