Ironic, considering your group has been telling us for the last 3 years his words absolutely matter.

Then I guess we better start a treason enquiry on Fed Chair Powel, you know for being an economical enemy. Shut down and try the CEOs of Amazon, Wayfare, Overstock, Walmart and Target, while we're at it, for giving comfort and financial support to the enemy.

Wait, your net worth is in the billions and you've occupied the oval office?

I guess I should pay more attention to your posts.

Here, I thought we could have a discussion with out snarky personal insults. ATS needs a new T&C.

Start your insults to me with commie, socialist, rrreeeeeeeee scream at the sky snowflake. That should do it! oh yeah, I almost forgot "people like you" and a clever gif or youtube for the cherry on top!!

Loam didn’t appear snarky to me. Simply stated a standard for someone to meet before he listens to advice. But then everyone knows the the left has no standards. (An example of snarky)

Who's going to pay for the infra structure the returning corps will need to gear up mfg. again. The stock holders, the company themselves? I think we all know it will be the middle class taxpayers, just like always with the WARS for profit.

And with everyone working according to trump. Who will staff the returning industries. Mexicans...lol

Let's be practical....Legal or not, it just ain't happenin. Americans are so addicted to Walmart cheap sh!t, they will never kick the habit.

Out of the profits they have made for YEARS by undermining the U.S./ economy for cheap (slave) labor in China. Yes, I'm looking right at you Apple! Take some of those billions you have saved and invest in the country that bred and fostered you when apple was run from a garage in Cali by two lone college kids.

I rarely if ever watch YouTube videos. Because I feel like they don’t inform you they try to convince you .

But since I’ve noticed you’re sharp and it was from you I watched it .

I knew about half of it .

But the other half was new to me . ( thanks )

As usual I’m opinionated so here we go . Lol

Regina Dugan.... hell hath no fury like a woman scorn .

Eric Smith is shadier than the Darkside of the moon. The influence he had on the US election system paled in comparison to the $64,000 the Russian trolls spent on Facebook. With the morals of a Irish traveler all he cared about was helping google and the MSM push the Russia narrative and a liberal faux utopia to the point I was ready to projectile vomit on my keyboard .

Fast forward to 2015 and Sundar Goebbels picked up the torch.

I hadn’t thought about googles collusion with China which indebted them forever . But a thought crossed my mind when she brought it up . Trumps order could have dire affects (effects? damn dyslexia ) on them and might be a way to to apply enough pressure and get around the Internet neutrality act . If they don’t comply there’s nothing more i’d like to see than the executives being arrested for noncompliance .

I’m not sure if I would want a Chinese eye implant?. Especially if it was only one. I would probably end up looking like Jack Elam. 🤪

Out of habit I still use google a lot of the time. But I keep trying to use DuckDuckGo more. They do appear a little biased but that might be just due to popularity of particular sources/articles. One thing I found about DuckDuckGo is that if you can’t find what you’re looking for on Google you stand a much better chance there.

One opinion I have about the national debt. Is that the world doesn’t want us to fail because if we do. More than likely will take everybody down with us .

That's insane. I had people in my thread yesterday claim there is no executive order, and he can't really do this and it's just words and it's not really dictatorial, so it's wrong to call him that...

...and look at this, one day later people now realize that this insanity might actually happen, crazy as it sounds, so now they are trying to MAKE THIS LOOK LEGAL despite how dictatorial this actually is.

This is insanity. You guys are rationalizing dictatorship. Where does this end?

It is legal, there’s no executive order YET. If he signs an executive order he’ll be able to enforce his statement.

I saw the statements that there wasn’t an executive order but dismissed them as irrelevant .

All that takes is someone to prepare the order and POTUS to sign it .

If it has been implemented before what were the reasons?

And how much does the current administration want to enforce this?

For example, Harley Davidson basically skipped town, will they make them come back?

It it legal, and many presidents prior have used it legally without question. A certain former president of two terms that many on the left love used it many many times, yet they were silent then, probably including you.

Why is that?

Oh that's right, Orange Man bad...yeah.

Yeah it really suck if we repaired, maintained, and updated our current crumbling infrastructure....

Maybe the current paradigm of max profits for the board and fu@k-all for everyone else involved could use a long overdue change back to reality.

Remember when starting or having a company meant you had to actually pay for the required overhead?

Internet businesses with no actual inventory or actual employees or actual physical address does not apply to everything a country needs to stay afloat.

Too many spoiled, sell crap on the internet people can't comprehend how much time, money, and risk is involved with a REAL buisness.

I hope trump does take on the corporate oligarchy, the neocons, and 3letters. But I don't think he has the guts. He likes to rile up his base with "Lock her up" and he's had plenty of time to file the indictments, yet....nothing.

Same with this EO....and the courts can still challenge it if he tries, but I hope he tries just to watch the fireworks.

Never forget Obama did it eight times .

Never forget that a threat to our economy is one of the provisions of the act and therefore action can be taken .

Never forget that never forget that that specific act has never been overturned in the federal court system .

Never forget that when I get back I’m gonna look at the vote count in Congress . Lol

Comparing people to Hitler is just plain wrong .

Wow, did you just equate the interests of China or corporate America with the plight of Jews in Nazi Germany or the subjugation and oppression of Martin Luther King and blacks in America???

Martin Luther King, Jr.’s 1963 “Letter from Birmingham jail”

Personally, I think if one is going to use the quote of another, one should at least know what the quote means.

No, but I'll explain it to you.

Using the excuse that something is legal is an ancient trope, frequently used throughout history to rationalize morally questionable behavior. The reason this is, is because the government can ALWAYS find a way to make something legal, or even create a new law if need be, if it wants to do something.

But I have a question for you guys:

Did you really just leave behind all your sanity and integrity to side with a president that is going full dictator mode and is ordering ALL American companies to leave a country, because his trade policies are failing as everyone north of 100 IQ predicted they would?

And you're questioning other people's sanity and integrity?
