How can you trust what anyone in the government says? Government's job is to grow government and consolidate/exert more power and control.
The only chance we have to fix it responsibly it to let the gears of government do their job.

What I'm saying is blaming the FBI, or any group or person at this point just makes it easier for other's who did misdeeds to get away with them.
I certainly think the FBI should be scrutinized, but let's not exempt others.

As I said, I'm not absolving the FBI. But we should blame all involved.
And if the current administration makes no attempts to fix it they're to blame as well, along with everyone who either allowed this to happen or orchestrated it.
