Another thing to consider which is probably closer to home , is the "good Friday agreement" and how the Brexit , no deal , can affect a hard border with Northern Ireland and Ireland .

This could potentially create both a political and religious divide over Ireland / N. Ireland and the rest of the UK

Are you equating current sectarian violence between Christians with that between Muslims? The ongoing violence between Shiites and Sunnis makes anything going on in Northern Ireland or Scotland look like a pillow fight in comparison. I don’t recall any sectarian wars or massacres between Christians remotely like those in Islam for many centuries. It’s not just Shiites vs Sunnis either. It’s also Sunni extremists vs Sunni moderates, like the horrific violence in the Algerian civil war in the mid-1990s. Algerian Islamists massacred entire villages, killing everything they could get their hands on, including infants, pregnant women and animals. Islamic State, al Qaeda, the Taliban, the Muslim Brotherhood, Boko Haram; these are jihadist organizations I can think of off the top of my head. There must be dozens of others, all eager to kill anyone who disagrees with them, including fellow Muslims.

My home town is Luton (uk) The problem here, and with so many towns in England, is a lot of Muslims are in the same area. Some parts of Luton, there is a whole area with Muslims. So there is no real chance to intergrate, and they pretty much do not mix with people outside that area.

Also, billboards around the are a that showed women dressed inapropiotly, they some of these Muslims would use paint to cover up the women in the billboards.

We have created this problem by putting Muslims all together, to the point they do not have go interact with other people. Luton is not the only town like this in the UK.

Yeah... maybe... these estimates are all based on heresay and ancient documents that may or may not be even remotely accurate.

Allow me to respond with: how does Christianities sordid history compare to the deaths caused by atheism (Communists and Socialists) in the last 100 years?

Anyway, since the subject is Islam - show me any religion that even remotely resembles the atrocities that the current ideology of Islam promotes and engages in all day, every day, all over the world.

Islam is a sick, perverted ideology that has no place in modern, civilized society.

I do not think it's intentionally. There would have been mass immigration, and the government, council decided to put then in one area.

Somewhat true, in my neck of the woods as well. It applies to all immigrant cultures. Chinese, Indian..etc.

Although they are congregating to these areas, rather than being placed.

It would be better if they had to spread out.

How? When they first starting coming into the UK, we put them in those areas. We did not intergrate them into society. Are you saying this has nothing to do with that fact?

I think it is intentional, but not necessarily for nefarious reasons. Sometimes it's a matter of that is where services have been set up to help them.

Also, a stranger in a strange land is going to feel less anxiety amongst their own. I'm not saying it's good policy though.

I would agree that there are a percentage that have no interest in being part of the bigger picture.

I'm in Vancouver, very multicultural. A bit hit or miss as to assimilation. The Chinese are about 20% + of the population at this point. To me they are not having to try too hard. A bit of a generalisation perhaps.

Immigrant have been well accepted here for the most part, but lately, due to the politics down south, there are more rumblings.
