you guys realize that the only difference between Judaism and Islam is that Jewish people tripped together and saw god, and mohammed tripped alone and claimed to speak the words of god. Think about it.

If you mean "Western World" to mean the developed world, then it's worthwhile to note that no nation which is predominantly Muslim is classified as developed. Without exception, Muslim countries will never really become developed in the context of the West, due to the fact that Islam embeds practices which inhibit advancement, such as the treatment of women, the inability to grasp democracy and half decent human rights.

About that, the western world also prevents other nations not in the "muslim" area to become developed and they blame it on any other thing they can find out, so Religion as a whole is not the actual reason but more like a political and regional issue.

See for example countries in South America which are also underdeveloped but not because they can't but because they are not allowed to due to pressure and political gain and stuff like that. Religion is only an excuse, we can see Saudis being very rich with crazy religious issues and yet....
