As I said to a good friend earlier, I can see “them” giving him the chance to off himself. In the same way Hitler used to “allow” people he was displeased with to off themselves.
But I don’t for a second believe there wasn’t plans in motion to silence him one way or another.

That island was to blackmail people. [snip] He probably rose to power because the elite could blackmail him and knew he had no ethics.
I'm thinking very much along those lines.
And Epstein could, in turn, entice and entrap and set up others for blackmail... but for who? Who was Epstein working for? Who recruited Epstein to do their dirty deeds???

it's good to see how ex ny mayor Rudy Gullliani waded into twitter with all the same questions we're asking here .
That this happened just may turn out to be a good thing . Waiting to see what DT has to say
The answer surely is that Clinton was always the main dealer .
Epstein was just the centrepin link to everyone else who was on board with child abuse . It was not about blackmail at those levels imo , it was about their sexual preferences , which hardened a certain exclusivity to an elite club
Inmates can only be removed from the watch when the program coordinator, who is generally the chief psychologist at the facility, deems they are no longer at imminent risk for suicide, according a 2007 Bureau of Prison document outlining suicide prevention policies. The inmates cannot be removed from the watch without a face-to-face psychological evaluation. To take an inmate off suicide watch, a “post-watch report” needs to be completed, which includes an analysis of how the inmate’s circumstances have changed and why that merits removal from the watch, the document said.

Remember when the fbi requested victims to come forward
Well if you are a victim, and you see someone like Epstein who everyone knew would have a target be able to commit suicide (get killed) while incarcerated even after a previous attempt how could you feel safe coming forward
What is the fbi going to protect them? They couldn’t even protect Epstein while they had him locked up
This sends the message for everyone to keep their mouth shut
on the plus side every one from the far left, far right, middle centrists etc all agree this looks shady as all hell and those in the DOJ seem pretty pissed off right now
Even before his first suspected suicide try last month, Jeffrey Epstein was perhaps the most vulnerable man in the federal jail system: a politically-connected financier accused of sexually abusing dozens of underage girls. He was, by all accounts, the kind of inmate that should have been under the closest possible supervision. Instead, Epstein was taken off suicide watch in the days before he took his own life, officials told NBC News, a decision that baffled former wardens and veterans of the federal prison system. "For them to pull him off suicide watch is shocking,” Cameron Lindsay, a former warden who worked at three federal facilities, told NBC News. “For someone this high-profile, with these allegations and this many victims, who has had a suicide attempt in the last few weeks, you can take absolutely no chances. You leave him on suicide watch until he’s out of there.”
ive seen the debunking sites saying the cameras were not down but haven't seen any thing confirming that yet
“Under the circumstances, I would have a staff member sitting there or have a camera on him 24/7 while he was in my custody, purely to cover my butt,” said Hood. “I know that sounds tacky, but this is not your average inmate.” Attorney General William Barr issued a statement expressing concern over the case, saying he was appalled and that Epstein’s death “raises serious questions that must be answered.” Former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein also weighed in. “Detained pedophiles require special attention,” he tweeted. “Stopping people from harming themselves is difficult.”
Contained within the nearly 2,000 pages of documents are allegations from Epstein’s alleged “sex slave,” Virginia Roberts Giuffre, regarding the powerful men whom she’d been forced to have sex with, along with the powerful men whom she’d sometimes seen in Epstein’s presence. Included among the latter set of men is former President Bill Clinton.
One set of pages specifically contain a deposition from Giuffre. Within the deposition, she describes being flown “to the Caribbean” when she was 17 and then tagging along as Maxwell took “a huge black helicopter” to pick up Clinton. “Epstein did invite two young brunettes to a dinner which he gave on his Caribbean island for Mr. Clinton shortly after he left office,” it reads. “I’d have been about 17 at the time. I flew to the Caribbean with Jeffrey and then Ghislaine Maxwell went to pick up Bill in a huge black helicopter that Jeffrey had bought her.” “I remember she was very excited because she got her license around the first year we met. I used to get frightened flying with her but Bill had the secret service with him and I remember him talking about what a good job she did. I don’t remember seeing Bill again on the trip but I assume Ghislaine flew him back.”
id imagine there will be a good deal of firings over this from the people who were in charge of watching him to the top of the prison management people
(a)Housing. Each institution must have one or more rooms designated specifically for housing an inmate on suicide watch. The designated room must allow staff to maintain adequate control of the inmate without compromising the ability to observe and protect the inmate. (b)Observation. (1)Staff or trained inmate observers operating in scheduled shifts are responsible for keeping the inmate under constant observation. (2) Only the Warden may authorize the use of inmate observers. (3)Inmate observers are considered to be on an institution work assignment when they are on their scheduled shift. (c)Suicide watch log. Observers are to document significant observed behavior in a log book.
they do say hanging is the most common form of suicide in jail though
Monitoring Adequate monitoring of suicidal inmates is crucial, particularly during the night shift (when staffing is low) and in facilities where staff may not be permanently assigned to an area (such as police lockups). The level of monitoring should match the level of risk. Inmates judged to be actively suicidal require constant supervision. Inmates who have raised staff suspicions of suicide but who do not admit to being actively suicidal, may not require constant supervision but will need to be observed more frequently (e.g., close observation at between 5-15 minute staggered intervals). However, considering a suicide attempt by hanging can take just three minutes to result in permanent brain damage, and 5-7 minutes to be lethal, rounds even at a distance of every 10-15 minutes might be insufficient for an acutely suicidal inmate. Uninterrupted supervision and human contact should be provided while keeping an inmate in segregation. Individual counseling may be a chance for self-expression for the inmate and a possibility for clinical monitoring.38 Prisoners at risk should not be left alone, but observation and companionship should be provided.
