Pitchforks and torches are symbolic of lynchings in the old south and this guy was wrong to use that symbology.
But did anyone else notice in the video clip where he AND the moderator accented several times the term "peaceful'' when talking about people protesting?

edit Oh, I see you did mention the peaceful part of the interview, but you seemed to not notice that the interviewer was accenting peaceful over and over again to back away from the stupid pitchfork line of the guy who mentioned them who I might add agreed about the peaceful part.

Honestly though, we all know they aren't actually calling for violence, their just fueling a fringe segment of their base for views and votes. If violence actually broke out, they'd be ghosts when it comes to actual accountability and following through on their rhetoric. Which in a way is actually worse, it's more cowardly. If your going to fuel violence, atleast stand by it when the chips fall, instead of doubletalking you way out of it like a coward.
