So what I am hearing is a snowflake crying about a movie that is fiction.
Check
This is a movie meant to make money. And I am sure it would. But no we have a bunch crybabies on the left and right.
Grow a pair.

To be honest, at the time hillary was the head of the democratic party as she was the nominee.
You dont get to separate hillary from the dems.
Nice try tho.
Ps
Watching you tack every trump tweet to the gop then trying to separate hillary from the dems is delicious

I take it you like to contradict yourself based on this statement.
Just sayin man.

Anyone remember the movie "Joe", starring Peter Boyle?

At a nearby bar he hears factory worker Joe Curran ranting about how he hates hippies, and Compton blurts out that he just killed one. Joe reacts favorably, but Compton says it was a joke.

Joe beats one of the girls until she tells him that their boyfriends often spend time in an upstate commune. Joe and Compton drive to that commune, with Joe bringing rifles. In a confrontation at the commune, Joe and Compton kill all the hippies there, and Compton unwittingly kills his own daughter.

Freaked me out, man.

This movie sounds more like Poe's The Most Dangerous Game though. That story freaked me out too.

I assume then that a movie can never make you think deeply?

Programing people over the decades via movies and TV series is something many know about and care about.

So what I am hearing is a snowflake crying about a movie that is fiction. Check

Check yourself, you don't want to understand.

Some will never handle the truth.

I was here, right here on ATS when Clinton was caught on tape using that word to describe Trump followers. Can anyone point to an earlier use of that word as a ''label'' for conservatives? I can't.

Immediately the conservative press blasted it out across the internet and one of the places it landed, not surprisingly was ATS.

Well, my friend, that's what happens when one group tries to dehumanize another group using names. They tried it with "racist" and actually had some success in re-branding what a "racist" is (it's a conservative that doesn't agree with you and expects you to support your position logically... nothing to do with race). They tried "homophobe" (someone who isn't gay and doesn't think being gay makes one superior) but it didn't go over as good. They tried "xenophobe" but most of the people using it weren't sure what it was supposed to mean (Is a "xeno" like a Warrior Princess?... derp, derp). They tried "sexist" and women got upset. So they tried "deplorables" and people had just had enough... they adopted it and used it to send Hillary back into the oblivion from whence she was spawned.

Too bad she keeps escaping, but that's for another thread.

I did the same thing with "Redneck." It was a put-down that people tried to use on me in my early years. I had had enough ("hick," "bumpkin," "dirt-boy," "dummy"), so I just adopted it. if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, and all that stuff. It lost all its power over me when I did that, and ticked off those who had tried to use it against me to no end.

...which amused me to no end to this day.

Just like it seems to have ticked you off to no end when people adopted "deplorables." Hmmm... interesting correlation there... anyway... carry on.

I've been seeing ads for this movie. It actually looks interesting. Hunting other humans has been a futuristic theme for as long as I can remember, and it'll be interesting to see what spin this movie puts on it.

Afterwards, maybe I'll grab a rifle and see if I can find some humans to hunt. NOT!

It's a movie, people! It's fantasy! I heard the same thing when Disney made "Pocohontas." It was supposed to be all touchy-feeley, tree-hugging indoctrination. Bull. It was a fun, cute little cartoon that took some writers' liberties with the Native beliefs (and the facts of what actually happened). Then I heard the same thing about "Happy Feet." Look out! It's propaganda designed to turn you into a tree-hugger. Watch it three times and you'll find yourself chained to a tree in the Amazon singing Kumbaya! Bull. It was a decent flick. Good animation. I heard it, oh, Lord above, did I hear it with "Avatar"! That movie is going to turn everyone into environmentalists! Bull. One of the best movies of that time IMO.

Now I hear it about "The Hunt." It's going to cause the reds to start shooting the blues and the blues to start raping the reds and the greens to shack up with the yellows and the purples to turn into oranges. Guess what I say?

BULL!

It's a fantasy.

I want to see it. One studio may have dropped it, but I'll bet another will pick it up. Or, maybe it'll go straight to DVD.

According to the source in quoted in the OP, it was the trailer which was axed.

BTW, I was wrong, they only pulled ads, they didn't pull the movie, it is coming out in September.

First of all, in the movie the people being hunted are all conservative/deplorables/right leaning, and the hunters are all Liberals. In the explanation for the movie the "heroine" is said to know the game of the elites, implying hunting humans, and she turns it around to them.

Second of all, if you don't think environmental extremism has been increasing read the manifesto of the last 4 mass murderers, they all wanted to save Earth/the environment from humans by depopulation. Even Jasson Kessler, the so called "rightwing extremist" wrote in his own blog that we need wars, and other ways to depopulate the Earth to save the environment.

This is a multi-million movie that has been in the works for several years.

one has to wonder - does the screenplay [ complete with " deplorables " ] predate 09 SEPTEMBER 2016 ?

Here is a website about entertainment talking about this.

Did one of Hollywood's most vocal Trump critics create a thriller where MAGA types save the day?
...
The heroes are the people in the cross hairs. Plain and simple. So what happens when the stalkers are progressives and the victims want to Make America Great Again?

“The Hunt,” slated for a Sept. 27 release, pits liberal elites vs. MAGA types, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
...

Are Deplorables the Good Guys in ‘The Hunt?’

In the original trailer that was pulled the hunters name themselves as liberals and that they are going to hunt deplorables. I don't know if they are changing the language in the movie of whom the hunters are and whom they are hunting(aka deplorables), but that was the language in the trailer ESPN pulled.

Here is another link.

After THR reported that ESPN had pulled a commercial, the studio took additional action on Wednesday.

Universal has decided to pause its marketing campaign for The Hunt — an R-rated satire in which elites hunt "deplorables" for sport — following a trio of mass shootings across the country.

A day after The Hollywood Reporter reported that the studio was reevaluating its strategy for the film, and that ESPN had already pulled an ad, Universal took additional action. "Out of sensitivity to the attention on the country’s recent shooting tragedies, Universal Pictures and the filmmakers of The Hunt have temporarily paused its marketing campaign and are reviewing materials as we move forward," a spokesperson said.

Could you show some actual promotional material for the movie that proves these are liberals hunting conservatives? Because the trailer says nothing about Trump or the political left. Literally at all, not even a hint.

Oh wow...you really need to change your user name. Do you really need someone to connect the dots for you? Watch the trailer again.

Movies can and do make me think deeply. But again they are just movies.
Is this a Oliver Stone or Ken Burns documentaries series?
No I think not.
So don’t think too much into it dude.

We'll see if they change the plot by not saying it is liberals hunting deplorabes. The movie will be out next month, so i doubt they'll change the plot now.

Clearly a fake news movie, I've read here over and over that liberals will get their asses kicked in a war ,cause they're all inner city soyboys that can't fight or shoot for #.

You're acting like you just disproved the OP. Laughable. The fantasy of killing unaware Trump supporters is still present in the film. The fact that the left is largely incapable of anything does not change that fact.

You don’t watch many movies I take it?

For there to be a good guy, in this case, it’s the “Trump supporters”, there needs to be bad guys, the “elite liberals”

You must get very upset watching movies that include Nazis, huh?
