I can understand personal feelings and convictions. I get it. However, no one is coming for your games. It is a talking point and it is true for some
but not for all. That is where I feel the world has seriously gone off track. Allowing a child to walk around GTA 5 and blow some things up...ok. It
is a game. A child getting a lap dance in GTA 5...uhm..not cool. THIS is why there are ratings. However, it is the 'parents' who are allowing it and
then when their child grab some kids ass in 5th grade they want to blame the school, the teachers...and the game. Uhm, don't let them play it and it
is not an issue.
THis is what Trump actually said...
"We must stop the glorification of violence in our society. This includes the gruesome and grisly video games that are now commonplace. It is too easy
today for troubled youth to surround themselves with a culture that celebrates violence. We must stop or substantially reduce this and it has to begin
immediately,"
Includes. He is not calling Bungie saying stop or EA or Epic Games. He did not say just video games but included it in everything else that is
affecting kids. Watch TV lately? Holy bat balls it is nuts. I remember as a kid 10PM meant the 'adult shows' were coming on. Now you can see veiled
sexual innuendo on regular broadcast TV at 8 PM.
My son started playing Halo and COD at 8. Watched me play some Doom 3 too. Am I a bad parent? Nope. He is not shooting up schools or Wal-Marts or
fantasizing about rape. However, there are some people who could be affected by it and again, it goes back to, the parents and in may cases the
friends.
The shooting in Dayton should have been prevented the kid was nuckin futz...
Sorry, gotta go play some Doom....
