Iv'e seen Korn live 9 times. They always deliver. Almost 30 years already and they just still keep cracking it. Their new "album" will drop this spring...

"The Nothing" Not everyone will share me enthusiasm, as a fan I admit they've laid a few eggs. You gotta respect their perseverance. Their all going on 50 and very wealthy. They love making music. Their latest release goes out to Justin Beiber...

Personally, I'm trying to forget the 90's(and early 00's) from a music perspective.

80's and modern(retro electronic #) is where it's at.

70's rock, 80's, and now 10's outrun/sythnwave....the rest should be discarded.

Personally, if I'm reliving 90's hard rock... It's Tool.

The attention to vocals the audience can clearly understand cuts the heaviness and makes something beautiful.

I just got a new(ish) car recently with a premium audio system by Fender, and Tool has delivered some of the most justice through those speakers.

As much as I liked korn with the first two albums, I have always had a soft spot for the deftones. Especially adrenaline era deftones.

The iconic korn for me was when I heard the cymbal and the scream of "ARE YOU READY??!!"

It just wasn't good(the 90's) objectively.

I grew up in the 90's, the music was trash.

Sure, nostalgia is a thing and occasionally(once every 5 years) I might listen to something(rancid or some other punk, etc).

By and large though it's the decade of forgotten music. Rightfully so. I realize it's mostly a nostalgia moment for most, certainly not on merit.

"Korn didn't follow suit"

Korn was ubiquitous with the 90's and by definition typical mainstream trash.

Video shows as dead link....

As it should, being most likely a 90's music video...

I'm a dick, no need to point it out.

I did star and flag all posts in this topic, because atleast something good can come from the era of horrible music....

:

Good headphones or speakers are a must.

But the song and band has a large range, their music (to me) is timeless.

Korn sold out, pretty much right out of the gate.

You couldn't get much more "mainstream" "obscure" in the 90's.
