It's good to see (most of) the U.S. Supreme Court 100% behind protecting America from those who want to enter our great country illegally.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court has cleared the way for the Trump administration to tap Pentagon funds to build sections of a border wall with Mexico.

The Supreme Court said Friday that it would lift a freeze on the money put in place by a lower court.

The Supreme Court's action means the Trump administration can tap the funds and begin work on four contracts it has awarded.

Four LIBERAL justices would NOT have allowed construction to start in the first place.

This should come as no surprise. The president had full authority to build the wall in the manner in which he is. Private citizens are also building huge sections of wall.

There's nothing democrats can do anymore. It's over for them. They lost it all. Just waiting for them to realize it.

Democrats are shielded from good news like this, by 90% of the U.S. media. One day, they'll wake up and realize that America is the greatest nation on Earth.

They'll never realize it. They're too invested in their hate.
It's all they know now, it's all they have.

Doesn't Congress control spending as stated in the Constitution?

Monies from specific sources are earmarked for specific sections of wall construction. Some sections are already being built (and have been under construction since 2017) from money already allocated by Congress...and from other sources.

Now, contractors can begin work on an additional section. Not sure which one though. We'll learn more soon.

Emergency powers of the Executive...pretty sure the SCOTUS is vastly more clear on the topic than CNN and MSNBC

On OP, This is a great vindication for the integrity of our constitution

House Democrats keep looking for dirt where there isn't any, while Senate Republicans continue confirming conservative judges and justices. Progress shall continue.

SCOTUS allowed Obama to unilaterally send non-appropriated money to Health Insurance companies. So it does happen on occasion.

I'm grateful that the Supreme Court hasn't de-evolved into an Anti-America posture like Nadler, Schiff, AOC, Omar, etc..

good thing the new budget passed before this ruling otherwise the dems may have tried to hold it up as now he can do the same thing again, the court case had on hold 46 miles in NM, 15-20? in Yuma AZ, and i think 15 miles in the California desert, west of Calexico. Plus some other miles in AZ but im not sure exactly what the specifics are and he can then tap into the 2020 doj budget to get more funds if they decide to withhold funding for the rest ,all in all a pretty dang good week for trump
