I clicked on the photo and saved to my photo album. Then followed the procedure.

Click the down arrow. Click the cloud button to upload, selected the photo that poster above posted, clicked the upload button again and I receive that error.

Just did exactly as you described dude... no upload error and it seemed to work just fine.

Trust me man, it's frustrating. Let me pull out my old laptop. Maybe it will work on that device?

That's even the exact photo I tried.

So the file extension is .jpeg? Please tell me the full filename. It MUST be .jpg and not .jpeg. For the 3rd time.

Well, then I'm out of ideas. I don't use Mac so don't think I can help any further. Maybe someone else here has an idea. I wish you luck in any case.

ETA You still didn't tell me the FULL filename of the image you were trying to upload...

Ok, so it worked on my older laptop...weird. Maybe the issue has something to do with uploading from iCloud? I dunno, but thanks for the assistance. Now I have to read up on how to add them to threads and such.

Yeah, maybe... I've just got an old samsung laptop.

I do actually have issues uploading photos on my iphone... But if I just email the image to myself and then save it on my laptop, then it uploads just fine.

Once you've managed to upload the image, then you just have to left click the image and move it to your public file (gallery 3).

After that, its as simple as clicking the image link well posting and selecting the image you want to post.

Try this:

Five icons from the right at the top of your screen is a down arrow. Click on that. That releases another menu. Click on "upload".

That brings up another screen. Upper left corner, click on "upload".

Click on "select files". This will bring up YOUR files. Scroll to the file you want to upload. Click on it. Click on "open".

Under "Upload Images", click on the up-pointing arrow.

You will see your image. Click on it. You are then given choices:

BBcode for use in post
BBcode for thumbnail link in post
direct URL of image

At the top of the uploaded image are icons. From the left, a circle slash, which deletes the image. The one that looks like an eye moves the image to gallery 1. The one that has a smiley face moves the image to gallery 2. The one that has a cloud icon moves the image to gallery 3. The person icon makes the image your avatar. The rounded square makes the image your mini-profile background.

If you want to post the image, highlight the "BBcode for use in post", copy it, and past it in a reply to the thread in which you want it to appear.

Please be mindful of the T&Cs when posting images.

Feel free to contact myself or any staff members if you have any questions.

Good luck!

Hey, if I can get it, you can get it.

It's stupid to have to upload at all.

Okay, fine with me. ;o)

It IS. It's logical to work with what is, until it changes.

OK, now it's clearer. Photos must be in jpeg format, have the file suffix .jpg (not .jpeg or anything else) and must be 2MB (possibly 3MB) or smaller.

Hope it helps.

Which is crazy. I understand why it's done but for the end user it makes life really hard.
