At this point, Im pretty damn convinced these people do believe what they are saying, and they want it to happen.

I have no other explanation. Clearly the way they are approaching this is damaging to their own cause.

And as someone who believes we should really be working on cleaning up our effect on the environment ASAP, they are damaging my cause too.

I dont think politics even needs to be involved at all. Doing so just means the ultra-derps will end up trying to convert everyone, to all our detriment.

I think a helluva lot of people are like me: We may not be convinced of AGW (I refuse to use "climate change"), but we can really get behind improving our environmental impact as well as adopting tools and technology that can improve our lives (important) while also cleaning things up.

If YOU really believe in anthropogenic global warming, including thinking that "we al gon die" because of it.. Maybe try something different from politics, emotional blackmail, and converting people?

Otherwise, I simply have to think you care more about growing the numbers of your religion, while completely delegitimizing any cause you claim to support.
