If they go for impeachment, Trump will win a second term.

So here are y takeaways

1. Mueller looks horrible. He doesnt seem to have a detailed knowledge of the case, and is refusing to answer any questions about the democrats and intel agencies connections with russians.

2. Dems continue to beat a dead horse. They lied to us for two years about crimes of russian collusion, and now slip into obstruction.

They scream about how any one would be charged for what trump did, yet all defended hillary deleting subpoenaed evidence, so they are hypocrites,

Yup. You hit the nail on the head. He was a perfect person to put out in front. This is simply just another grandstanding attempt by the house.

I believe that he was saying that the call never happened and that is why he doesnt remember it.
Cant remember something that never happened.

You also can't be charged with obstructing if a crime was never committed to obstruct!

I'm at lunch reading this thread. Am I to gather that everything is the same as it was before Muller's testimony?

even msnbc's bob woodward has given up
www.msnbc.com...

Woodward says Mueller didn’t find the 'evidence that we saw in Watergate' and not finding 'some sort of conspiracy' is 'very significant.' But, he adds, 'clearly' there was 'some sort of effort to strangle' the probe and reports there is 'a governing crisis' inside The Trump White House. In a fitting close to the interview, Woodward says 'let's keep digging.'

I just watched this entire 3 plus hours on CBS.

The network was quick to go to split screen with infographics when democrats asked questions in regards to the 3 elements of obstruction.
They also had several quotes ready to go from the report and displayed several of them.

When the republicans asked questions I didn't see any.

Did anyone else watch this on CBS and notice it?

I admit that I didn't watch the screen the entire hearing but what I did see seemed a bit lopsided.

www.cnn.com...

As of 11:49 a.m. ET, Robert Mueller deferred or declined to answer questions from members of congress at least 111 times.

111 times
that is ridiculous
anyone else would be held in contempt of congress

What a clown show. On July 30 and 31, there will be two more clown shows...two Democratic primary debates.

How many of these candidates will bring up this Mueller testimony and promise to prosecute Trump for obstruction, if they're nominated President?

It's so pathetic how predictable they all are.

I have watched NBC of and on. After the hearing they have this bottom headline saying: "Mueller says that you can indict a sitting president after they leave office. (My paraphrasing)."

The thing is that anyone with half a brain knows that there will be no charges against Trump no matter if he is guilty or innocent. The next president will tell everyone to get over it and tell the country to move on. It will not be worth the political coin to go after Trump once he leaves office.

Ugh.

I haven't been watching the hearings. Thanks for the summary. So nothing has changed from 24 hours ago.

This was already covered when Hillary ordered her staff to rip the header off classified docs. They didn't do it therefore the media said there was no crime. Now, now they want to change their determination that it is a crime. Ok then. Go back and charge her first. Republicans should have pointed this out but once again, they fail to hit the tee ball.

Good news though is this whole thing has finally fallen apart like it should have because it was held together with nothing. Just please don't question Mueller again. It was pure torture listening to him mumble, stutter and watching him confused and disoriented.

So it's pretty clear the Mueller had no idea what was going on most of the time. He was just a figurehead so that the left could claim the investigation was being led by "a Republican" to try to give it some legitimacy. But it's clear his underlings were making all the decisions. So a bunch of Trump-hating Democrats investigated for 2 years and found nothing they could charge Trump with.

Will our left wing members finally admit they got duped?

This is the guy that was supposed to be so impressive?

He sounds feeble and senile

Meanwhile, how was Hillary and The dnc ties outside his purview?

Wasn’t he investigating all Russian interference?

From what I've watched, it's obvious Mueller narrowed his scope to only investigate the Trump campaign and allies and not to investigate Hillary's campaign. Then proceeded to stack his team with Hillary's buddies that all donated to her campaign and not add one Republican to the team. Basically, its the definition of a witch hunt exactly as Trump has painted it the entire time.

This is what i was thinking. They reached pretty far to dig up something on Trump while simultaneously burying people unrelated to the investigation -- presumably to cover for someone else.

Yeah, it seemed he was privy to investigate everything under the sun, unless they had a D before their name.

collusion and conspiracy are not the same things.

Webster’s :
Collusion - a secret agreement, especially for fraudulent or treacherous purposes; conspiracy...

Not only are you a bad liar, you lack reading comprehension and vocabulary.

Is Silly actually Mueller? He thought that too before reading his report.
