Russia will be and is our only allie against the islamic invasion that is taking place all over Europe. Between the bible and Nostradamus Iran is the flash point that brings on all the end time doom written between the two writers.

I say let the UK handle the situation. It's a piracy issue. England probably has the most crazed history of high seas piracy ever. Just ask Spain and France and the Ottoman empire.

US doesn’t have to do much militarily to neutralize Iran.

Taking out key command and control sites and render runways/ports unusable.

That can be done in a couple days with no boots on the ground and minimal risk to US personnel.

Iran does not have the ability to respond militarily beyond the immediate regions around their borders.

There’s no reason to go down this path at this time but if/when it’s deemed necessary, it goes sideways for Iran quickly.

Well it's a response of their own ship being held by the English with tons of oil.

Iran isn't allowed to sell oil to anyone basically and other country's selling other stuff at Iran because of US sanctions, that alone is war because the US is trying to destroy the economy of Iran. People will be out of jobs or worse.

There wasn't a problem with Iran, only after the US left the nuclear treaty (which Iran followed) and put sanctions on the country after, putting troops/ships and planes near. Trying to block their trade with patrols and so on and on.

So if Iran does something in response ohh bad bad Iran. If Europe ignores those US sanctions EU country's or firms doing business with Iran will be punished and also sanctioned!

Sanctions are almost as bad as war, millions of people loosing jobs and income. Back in those days before the 1st war against Iraq they did the same, destroying their economy with sanctions and even medicines where sanctioned! Alone with those sanctions countless of people died and suffered badly, let alone the wars after.
And even today it's still so bad (even though most terrorists and suicide bombings are mostly gone) they wished they where living in those days when Saddam was still around for sure.

But lets hope no war comes, 80 million people living there, just people like you and me. And when war breaks out again Europe must take in millions of refugees. The US doesn't feel the suffering far far away.... with all those sanctions and wars.
Isn't it weird the US doesn't needs defense at home really but a big ass military for their power (war) games far away?

But hey the war industry is big business, it's about making profit, not about making the best weapons really perse. Heck the US war industry is basically in bad shape because profit comes first and then about making the best tanks, guns or whatever.. it's just a business plan, making the shareholders happy and so on. Acquiring market share in the global weapons trade.

I agree with most of whay you said.

I would only take issue with them not being able to respond.

They can not respond in a conventional military sense, but terrorism within our shores would be a distinct possibility.

There are sleeper cells throughout the world. I have absolutely no doubt about that.

They want the nuke deal back. It made so much more sense for them. Why just continue to enrish uranium on their own when they had a deal where they could ignore it, enrich uranium and get paid pallets of cash to do it?

I think they think if they convince the world that they'll do it, man! They'll really do it!

Then we'll come begging with their deal and pallets of cash again.

No, that's not going to happen this time around. Doing so last time was an embarrassment and an act by a coward for a president. You won't see Trump authorizing cash to be floated to an Iranian port.

The British are going to start defending their ship with escorts from what I heard today.

There will be no war....yet....and as more and more Countries bring in their Military assets to protect their own Global interests as America has essentially done for them by proxy in the past we get closer to multi-national sometimes uni-lateral attacks at random as needed from a loose fluid non-official coalition of Countries. We are now faced with a Global Economy which is critical to many Countries heath and well being...Iran is not threatening one Country or bullying 2-3 they are threatening Global commerce...and that is war on everyone which is the single most stupid thing they could possibly do....and this is happening because there is a multi-pronged attack on them now which will only grow in size and complexity....Iran cannot target and terrorise a single Country alone now and try to play War-Games with them....there are now multiple Global sized militaries on point ….. and Iran is taking them all on at once.....the stage is nearly set.....just one single Tanker going down in the Strait of H. and we will see a Rocket-Show like never before as 3-4 of the worlds biggest militaries all converge on one single target.More troops are needed at least 3x the American contingent...India needs to send over 150,000 and Britain needs to mobilies 120,000.....Russia needs to also mobilize a force equal to Americas and China needs to kick in the same size contingent.....and for the first time in human history we will see a Global alligance working together to snuff out discontent and avoid Global conflict...It is my belief that shortly thereafter we will see a United Korea...long before NK gets their dance ticket to what we will soon be seeing …….and after that I see China dropping the old BS STORY AND GOING GLOBAL IN ITS CULTURAL ASPIRATIONS....meaning instead of trying to make the world china they will make China a bigger part of the World by joining the Global status Quo on all levels from within China,they never had to aspire to grow nor to change just to evolve with everyone else.

I am not even sure if there would be a need for Groundtroops … just a Blitzkreig to destroy all military infrastructure and to replace all Government....and to have a free election....then to allow a properly elected group to rebuild ASAP with assistance from all parties who leveled them....no one wants to disenfranchise the Iranian people...we want good neighbors and will settle for no less.

That’s the end game scenario. A state sponsored terrorist attacked inside US gets your leader(s) on decks of playing cards. The gloves come off and then stuff gets blown up in Iran that leaves them vulnerable to Israel taking action.

Their footprint with those cells gets smaller when every government building in Iran has a tomahawk assigned to it.

Water eventually boils when heated long enough...
