A Karmic buffer to cleanse the people of mis-doings so they regain permissiveness to enter the perfect realm
Free will is given to everyone when they read or are told that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for our sins. Corinthians 15 1-4.
Then the person will either die and enter His Kingdom or be given another chance on this planet via reincarnation.

and once gained can it be lost?
To know the manifestation you would be able to keep it.
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
17 By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 19 We love because he first loved us. 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot[a] love God whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.

Really?
reincarnation eh?
Jesus's purpose was to function as a reminder and give all fallen angels a deadline as to when He will return again for the final battle of Armageddon.
Ever wondered why world mythologies stopped and the would suddenly went into The Industrial Revolution ?
Jesus has super duper technology. Mankind had to be upgraded with a little help via "crashed UFOs" technology; (Roswell) to stand a chance to survive a few seconds before total defeat.

Reincarnation. Every family, yours included, has a territory, in the spiritual realm, with which to maintain control over. Reincarnation, via 3rd or 4th Generation Curses are used to allow families to maintain their territory.
History has often stated how certain people, whilst they are children, remember how to operate certain devices even though they have never used them.
There was a child, a century ago, who could "somehow" fly a plane even though they had never flown a plane before. A elder member of their family was a PILOT who had previously past away.

Should we, as Christians, cower in fear 24/7 because of the rapture, or the NWO, or is it more important for us to continue to build our faith and relationship with God? Shouldn't we concern ourselves more with helping those in need and diffusing conflict around the world, instead of stocking up on weapons and fear mongering on the rapture?

so the people that go straight into the kingdom are missing out?

Yes. When a person, that is destined to be used as a 3rd / 4th Generation pawn

Is "super duper" the technical term?
I think I watch this on the history channel some nights.
Can you expound?
