Let’s be clear about something here. The us govt has done nothing good for South America, for Africa, for the Middle East. And they’ve done plenty bad to them. The us govt and the us people are two completely different entities, and I love the land, and I love the people. The government I don’t like or trust anymore than I expect you do. Interesting thing I notice though. Y’all will be constantly criticizing our govt and how evil and corrupt it is when we’re talking about us here. But whenever the discussion switches to what horrors our govt does to other people you all of a sudden become govt lovers and war crime apologists. How about this. You like the idea of me being nukes first cause I point out some history? Well here’s irony for you. What you ignore your govt and military doing to other people? That’s what you’re inviting them to do to you and yours one day. Our fall will not come from an external foe. Most likely, after years of committing human rights abuses, stealing resources, and exploiting millions around the globe your very own govt will be doing it to you too. And if you can’t see that it’s already started, as our civil rights and liberties are stripped away through the patriot act, militarization of police, and destruction of our middle class, it’s because you’re too busy sucking on the teats of the very media, politicians, and oligarchs who are doing it.

You’re all so hopped up on party lines and memes that when I point out history, and not once make any insinuation that Iran is good, you all jump to the oft repeated meme of “them why don’t you go there”. When it wasn’t relevant to anything I said. Because you don’t even hear arguments you just hear what you want to hear. And think further about this. Y’all are in the majority. Another funny irony is that when people come here y’all are quick to tell them to go home and fix their own country (which we’ve usually f’ed up, like the dictator we recently placed in Honduras). But then when people here want to fix our own country you tell us we should leave. They e been begging us to get out of the way so that they could normalize relations.
