I just watched a clip of Tom DeLonge being interviewed on The Kevin & Bean Show, which is on KROQ-FM in Los Angeles. I also found the transcript of this show here.

Something is "terrifying" out there:

Allie Mac Kay: So would you say one of the main reasons that the government wanted it to, you know…there to be a stigma so long ago and for just little, itty bitty things to be leaking out now, is because it would terrify people? And is it a matter of just sovereignty?

DeLonge: Yeah, it’s…it would terrify people.

Ryder: What would terrify?

DeLonge: I think it’s the the idea that, you know, there’s, there’s something here.

Allie Mac Kay: Humans aren’t the elite beings.

DeLonge: There’s something here that’s potentially millions of years more advanced than us and it can do things that we can barely even fathom. And what that means is that humans may not be alone or in charge,

On "storming" Area 51:

Bean: Yeah, let’s let’s storm Area 51. Let’s see them aliens, as it said,

DeLonge: Let’s see dem aliens?

Bean: You would be against that and you would…my guess is advise people that the Air Force would take that seriously, if people try to get on the base.

DeLonge: Oh my God, they would take it seriously. This is, you know, I totally advise people against it for a variety of reasons. Number one, it’s not going to change anything. Number two, people can get hurt. You know, and number three, there’s really good reasons for things being secret. And I used to think that it was because we couldn’t handle it. Or I used to think because you know, these guys want power. And it’s about oil money. It’s all these stupid conspirator…It’s none of those things. It’s scary, you know. And you have a bunch of guys that do not sleep at night that are dealing with this stuff so we can go to soccer games and all that. The real way to get change is dealing with a corporate issue. It’s a bureaucratic issue. The way things are kept secret are mechanisms that are there since World War II for a really good reason. So what we need to do is change the law. And the law would pry the mechanism loose of how it secret.

My guess would be if there was anything at area 51 it has long since moved, makes perfect sense to use it as a flight test bed with the surrounding terrain and runway, but lets be honest area 51 is so media saturated ........


I personally think that the only way that disclosure will happen is with a stupid amount of private money being poured into a space program detached from central Government and with NASA (Never A Straight Answer) attempting to get a monopoly on getting into space I see little chance of that ever happening..


We need a good version of a Bond villain, someone that really does not give a flying fish finger what the Government wants and just gets the right people to start a space program, maybe live in a mountain, wear a funky ring and stroke a cat etc......


I once really thought we would get confirmation within my lifetime but what I have discovered the last few decades if I was a betting man I would be putting all my chips on "Nothing changing"..


The risk to population stability if the plebs knew and with the Vatican having a lot of range on the subject along with other agencies having their own agenda we ain't getting much more info that what the X files gave us...

Toms whole explanation doesnt make sense.

Tom: There is a really good reason that all this is kept secret, trust me the reason is really good.

Tom: All we need to do to learn the truth of the matter is change the law, then we can know.

So does the reason for secrecy change once the law change? Is it no longer something too scary for us to know once the law changes? What does the law have to do with the reason for secrecy Tom?

Its not too scary for you to know Tom, but it is too scary for me to know right now because the law hasn't changed?

Thats my impression of passive aggressive Sputniksteve talking to Tom while waiting in line at Starbucks.

It looks like Tom is doing his best in a tough spot. Official policy is to not talk about it so he is bound to not spoil the surprise. With all the public pressure building he is in a good position to relay official policy as it adapts to the situation.

With 2 months on the clock we have not got 5 years to wait for congress to act. It's Trumps call.

What makes Tom eligible to “know” while the rest of us just putz around to soccer games?

How is Tom so capable of handling the truth but is confident the rest of us would collapse in anguish?

It seems that the folks who are fighting for “disclosure” are always intimating that they “know” things we don’t. Yet THEY don’t disclose.

Nothing. He read up on UFOs for twenty years and told some brassy 'higher-ups' that he'd pieced together The Truth - from books - and told them this truth to their faces.

All the while the ‘threat mongering’ is slowly increased.

The Government seems to distance itself: The AATIP was eventually stopped because of a lack of results; no reliable ‘chain of custody’ evidence is presented for the ATFLIR clips; Elizondo’s involvement in the AATIP seems much weaker than he claims it to be.

On top of this: No disclosure, no irrefutable proof.

How to introduce an elusive threat in (young) people’s minds? A threat that will put pressure on the Government to act?
