Actually a fraudulent marriage would be more likely to get someone booted than "association" with subversive and/or terrorist organizations.

That association has to be pretty clear (not, "I donated to some Saudi charity that passed the money on the whomever who blew up a bus in Tel Aviv...").

Our system is set up to allow dissent and to err on the side of freedom of association when looking at these types of things. For good reason and despite the abortion that is the Patriot Act.

So... proving a marriage was entered into fraudulently, while still difficult to meet all the elements of the crime, is easier than getting someone kicked out for "associating" with this group or that when we're talking about a citizen; naturalized or natural born. The water just gets too murky too quickly.

More than likely, you read a few baseless accusations on a far right blog.
But trump singled out more than just her and the rest are born citizens. So, I will just take it for granted that shes a legal citizen also till proven otherwise.
