I know I’m jumping the gun on this. But I think it’s going to be a left-wing protester .

I blame the mainstream media and Democratic leaders. When you insight people to the point of rage. Deranged people will act out . This guy attacked with a long gun and either and incendiary grenades or flares. Pretty much the same scenario as the guy that attacked paying a pong comet restaurant . ( he didn’t shoot though )

There are plenty of nuts on both sides. Something needs to be done by our leadership and mainstream media to tamp down the flames. The media is inciting violence and it should be investigated .

This crap is getting out-of-control .

If not, sooner or later guns are going to start showing up at protest .

The Seattle Times reported that the unidentified man appeared outside of the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma with a rifle and threw incendiary devices at both the facility and nearby propane tanks, at one point setting a vehicle on fire.

Officers responded to the incident around 4 a.m. and called out to the man before shots were fired. It was not clear how many shots were fired or whether the man fired at police.

Nut

Exactly - Democrat politicians and the main stream media inciting violence.
Not the first time they have riled up radicals to hurt others.
CNN are the main culprits here and should be punished.

From your article, it seems your thoughts about armed protesters was a bit late. This event happened AFTER a protest there it seems.

The shooting took place hours after a rally in front of the detention center to protest planned mass deportation raids around the country. The Tacoma facility, which is run by the Department of Homeland Security, holds migrants pending deportation proceedings.

The hateful and inaccurate political rhetoric is directly responsible for these actions and the increased safety risk of the workers.

GEO Group, which runs the 1,575-bed Northwest Detention Center, in an email to The Associated Press said baseless accusations about how detainees are treated at its facilities "have led to misplaced aggression and a dangerous environment for our employees, whose safety is our top priority. Violence of any kind against our employees and property will not be tolerated. We are thankful for the quick and brave action by the Tacoma Police Department, which prevented innocent lives from being endangered."

In addition...this facility has all sorts of amenties that many citizens do not even have available to them.

GEO Group said the detention center in Tacoma has modern amenities with air conditioning, recreational activities, a bed for every individual and medical care available at all hours.

Terrible.

And completely predictable

If you tell someone that apolitical party or border agents are nazis running concentration camps long enough, sooner or later someone will take you serious and start shooting at them.

If this rhetoric is continued to be pushed by the democrats and their media allies, look for this situation to escalate to even more deaths

*shakes head*

Someone was willing to die to protect active criminals with warrants for deportation because of leftist rhetoric.

The blood is on the hands of leftists who would encourage this.

And don't DARE say that the left hasn't!

What we need is a leadership that can bring opposing sides together. Instead of deepening the divide day after day after day.

This country has no leadership currently. We have two sides and it doesn't matter which one you fall on. Both are crazy nutjobs.

We need leadership that leads the whole country, that is capable of compromise. You know, making deals.

I agree, it is like a tortured relationship. On one side you have the crazy psycho-bitch stalker woman and on the other side you have the womanizing asshat guy whose mouth speaks before his brain thinks.

I think the middle ground might be the psychiatrist. After all, (s)he is the only one that benefits from that type of relationship.

Going from memory. The only two shooters that attack for political reason were both leftists. This one in the congressional softball game .

That should tell everybody something .

The far left and far right seem to rile up some people who are a little off. But lately the Democrats, especially a few congressmen and women, are inciting these people to do these kind of things. These congressmen and congresswomen should not be saying things to fire these people up. Trump, we know he puts his foot in his mouth when challenged, but maybe if the Dems and media did not entice him, his breath might not smell like toe jam. Finally Pelosi is waking up, she was living in a dreamworld for a while, bsed by the far left.

It's not any one thing. This is another problem with the division continuing in our country. When a subject like compromise is broached the most far-left or far-right topic is brought up and the whole conversation turns to a pissing match.

It's as simple (not so simple apparently) as recognizing that what people living in San Francisco want out of their government is not what someone living in Fargo wants. But, all being human, I have to believe we can find some common ground. No one is looking for it is the problem.

A leader would look for that, search it however they can and speak to it. Not just sow discord which ends in stupidity like gunman at detention centers.

My idea of compromise on both sides would simply be to abide by the Constitution, Bill of Rights and to stop writing any more goram laws that interfere with such!

Apparently, people in San Francisco want illegal aliens that have broken laws other than immigration to be considered immune from prosecution.
But then, the citizens crap in the streets in San Francisco, so I am not surprised.

The lawmaking is excessive, I agree. Politicians have to do something, anything, so they can say they did something and get re-elected.

I've always felt our Constituion to be safe until recently. A volatile government such as this is no good to anyone. And they will do any damn thing to stay in power and money.

Exactly. Follow the Constitution, and stop infringing on my freedoms and liberties and we will have no problems. However, as many of us already know, they cant help themselves......this goes for both sides of the aisle, politically

And that's what I mean about the crazy stories sowing stupidity and endless argument. If I had said Boulder would you have brought up the Mad Pooper?

It's nonsense.
