Further proof that the *Trans Agenda* is anything but "progressive"

Many of you folks may not know this, but in the Islamic Republic of Iran (yes, that repressive regime, the one the United States was poised to "invade") permits you to have "sex changes". No, seriously.

Homosexual relationships are banned in Iran, but the country allows sex change operations and hundreds of men have elected for surgery to change their lives.

This month is so-called "Pride Month" and society has "happily" pushed these four letters "L", "G", "B" and "T" together, for some reason placing the "T" letter with the other three (because sexuality and "gender identity" go hand in hand apparently - whoddathunkit).

And yet, we have nations like the Islamic Republic of Iran, a sovereign nation famous for its hangings and mistreatment of those engaging in same-sex relations or pre-martial sex.

The Islamic Republic is hardly world renowned for being "progressive". And yet, you can easily go and have a "sex change" in Iran. Go figure.

And it doesn't stop there:

Iran is one of a handful of countries where homosexual acts are punishable by death. Clerics do, however accept the idea that a person may be trapped in a body of the wrong sex. So homosexuals can be pushed into having gender reassignment surgery - and to avoid it many flee the country.

This info, if you weren't aware of it already, should make you rethink the amalgamation of the four letters "LGBT" over here in our "enlightened" and "progressive" Western World, the supposed "birth of civilisation".

You have missed my point. Sure, the Islamic Republic can do what it wants, but it's contradictory policies should make us "free" citizens here in the West have a fresh look at our attitudes and policies ourselves...

We need to ask ourselves how a nation like the Islamic Republic of Iran happily "allows" its citizens to have "sex changes" but forbids same-sex relations and pre-marital sex. Is in Iran doing in public what we here in the West are doing in private, all hushed up?

Are you suggesting that Transgenderism is the means by which society suraptioiusly tries to curtail homosexuality? And that in the west the invisible hand has effectively added the means to distroy the homosexual movement right into the movement itself? How diabolically. It certainly explains the growing tensions between the L and the T. Now all the invisible hand has to do is add the P to the movement and homosexuality will really be in trouble.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but most of your post appears to be in line with the point that I may have been trying to convey or thereabouts.

However - and I assume the "P" refers to "Pansexual" - "pansexuality" is not on the same plane of existence as "transgenderism" as the latter is much like bisexuality or homosexuality and refers to sexuality as opposed to the latter, which refers to "gender identity" or whatever.

Maybe a rebranding could see something like this:

People never understood why the "T" was combined with the other letters, however the above conspiracy, which appears to be present in the Islamic Republic, could well ring true...

Ask yourself why veterans only have one day a year, and the gay community gets a whole month....

It's called ethics, morals, and mutual respect.

I've said for a while that homosexuality and transgenderism are incompatible in their activisms and at their base.

One group relies on the idea that they can only and ever be attracted to people of the same biological sex while the other group relies on the idea that biological sex does not matter, only their mental idea of gender is important.

They already clash where transwomen are mad that lesbians won't date them, especially if they haven't had the surgery. But why would they expect lesbians to be interested in dating a biological man?

And in Iran, what matters is the illusion of sexual propriety -- letter of the law and all that. So if the homosexual wants to be homosexual badly enough, he'll do it as a seeming woman. Propriety is satisfied (letter of the law). It's that kind of behavior that got the Jews into trouble with God.

The choice may not be as clear here in the west, but there are concerns that the same factor is at play. Especially with kids and the high rates of kids questioning their gender. It seems many of these kids are simply gay, but are feeling pressure to change their "gender" to accommodate their sexuality.

When one really considers the dynamics at play, in effect, the Trans Agenda has become conversion therapy in many ways. Rather than accepting and embracing one's homosexuality, one is forced to convert to the appropriate gender.

I really feel for the homosexual community. And no one has taken more abuse than lesbians who are not interested in "women" with penises as romantic partners.

I've done a fair amount of reading about this, and what you said is definitely a part of it. But in the case of men who want to be lesbian women, I've discovered many of these men are porn addicted, specifically 'sissy porn' or 'forced feminization porn.'
They often don't have a social life outside of their Internet friends, have not been successful at dating, and seek to become the woman of their dreams.

As for women wanting to be men, what you said applies to some as well, but many of the young women/girls are attempting to opt out of womanhood b/c of past abuse/trauma and wanting to hide their developing bodies from the leering eyes of creeps. The number of minors seeking full mastectomies so they can be 'one of the guys' and avoid the sexualization of their natural bodies is just heart breaking.

Yes! Definitely!!! I have found the same thing, aka autogynephilia. I've tried to nail down numbers, but it's impossible to do. However, it would seem that as much as 90% of men who identify as "women" are autogynephiles -- i.e., they are sexually aroused by the thought of being a "woman." It's a sexual fetish. And it's downright vile and obscene to force the rest of us to role play in their sexual fantasy.

I didn't mean to suggest otherwise; I was simply addressing the "gay conversion" factor as that was the topic of the OP, and it is also a factor. Unfortunately, one which is ignored in preference for the autogynephiles.

As for women wanting to be men, what you said applies to some as well, but many of the young women/girls are attempting to opt out of womanhood b/c of past abuse/trauma and wanting to hide their developing bodies from the leering eyes of creeps. It is heartbreaking. And the vast majority of women empathize with girls. The hardest part of becoming a woman is dealing with the creepers and perverts that crawl out from under their rocks when we hit puberty. I think that's where role models play such an important role. If girls don't have both male and female role models providing strong positive examples, they have no foundation for dealing with the challenges.

All of these folks need help, not amputations.

Definitely. I cannot imagine how hurtful -- how devastating -- it must be to be told that you aren't good enough just the way you are, and that you have to chemically or surgically mutilate yourself to be "okay." It's cruel.

I know you didn't address this comment to me, and I'm not trying to speak for the other poster, and maybe I'm missing something here...

But sissy porn -- and especially an addiction to sissy porn -- is definitely a factor in many men wanting to identify as "women." And apparently this type of porn is designed to create an addiction, so it is often called "sissy hypno" or just "hypno" porn.

At some point, I think men are going to have to take a look at this and address it from the male perspective. It's literally destroying some young men. At the very least, it's fostering very unrealistic expectations -- and therefore unhealthy and unfulfilling ideas -- regarding girls/women and sexual relations. These boys need strong male mentors to help them navigate their own sexual development and experiences.

Your point is well taken, and I don't disagree. It's also important to note that there are very big differences in motivations and expectations between the adults (especially middle-aged men) who seek transition, and the kids. In adults, up to 90% are autogynephiles. In other words, it's a sexual fetish, and transitioning is just a LARP for sexual thrills. In kids, girls are questioning their "gender" at astronomical rates -- far more than boys. And especially girls diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum. We also know that when left alone, 60 to 80% of these kids will "grow into" their sexuality and "gender". Unfortunately, the puberty blockers being forced on these kids seems to lock them into their dysphoria, denying them the opportunity to grow and mature into their own awesome selves.

I'm glad you made the point, because this needs to be understood and kept in perspective. There are many dynamics at play in these issues, and they vary greatly from individuals to specific groups. There is no one-size-fits-all.

No, it's not nonsense. Yes, it must be kept in perspective. Yes, it applies to a relative small percentage of those who question their gender. But it cannot be denied. There are many such testimonials of this exact personal experience.

Agreed. In that light, we also need to address Münchhausen-by-proxy. Many many parents are fighting back, but there are also those determined to "trans" their own kids based on their own criteria (for want of a better word), but who are encouraged and praised for their efforts by Trans Activists.
