I said that if the ice cream licking cretin was not dealt with firmly and quickly in a very public way, there'd be copy cats, what I called the SUPERMARKET LICK CHALLENGE. Well, here it is! It's a thing now, and that didn't take long at all.

She's just a kid, they said. Haven't you ever done anything stupid, they said. Why ruin her life over this, they said.

Funny thing is, I asked several people who defended the ice cream licker if they'd allow me to go into their home and spit in their family's food. Nobody would give me a direct answer.

Well, folks, this is what you get when you defend and excuse stupidity. I read a proverb once that said, The result of protecting fools from their folly is to fill the world with fools. So, there you have it. Enjoy.

It seems like we have raised a generation of scumbags. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of good people out there, but this seems to indicate that some are starting to accept this type of behavior and even emulate it.

What I find even more perplexing is that the are people who say they'd never do such a thing, but will defend and excuse people who do. Or others who will shift blame away from the perpetrators and to society.

i think the Licker is committing a Hate Crime and should be punished as a Terrorist...

The people that do these kinds of things are sociopathic. They get off on the illusion of power that doing something evil to somebody else gives them. They are cowards who would never hurt someone in a way that would directly connect them with their victim, but feel a thrill in doing it anonymously.

But, hey, if we ignore them, maybe they will magically turn into nice people and, like, volunteer for community service! Just keep them fingers crossed and hope for the best for humanity!

You do know that freezing does not kill viruses and most bacteria, don't you? I just slows down or stops their metabolic processes. It actually preserves them, like it does the food.

This is called a straw man. A reply like this undermines a proposition by making and applying an extreme extrapolation that the person who first propositioned didn't intend. But other not-so-bright people will jump on it and derail discussion.

Nobody in their right mind would call for a death penalty, bit it is socially unacceptably, disruptive, and potentially harmful behavior that should be dealt with very firmly.

When you have an entire generation growing up in a world where social media celebrities exist it's pretty much inevitable that crap like this is the result.

We have a girl selling her bathwater , and dont think for a minute that it's just men buying it, to fools.

People are disgusting, have almost stopped eating out Have got the wrong vibes before and just thrown stuff out instead of eating it, not to mention got extremely sick after eating carry out. Hell regardless if it was intentional or not I STILL GOT SICK and the drink tasted funky, spit it out after the first sip.

This makes grocery foods suspicious too and should be dealt with harshly. But only filming is new, watched a MANAGER no less at a pizza delivery chain years ago, sweep up cheese and crud off the floor and bake it on a guy's pizza. Have heard even worse stories...

I do know that freezing does not kill bacteria but it will slow it, substantially. That's why we use fridges/freezers.

I read somewhere that home canned/jarred foods used to be the #1 cause of food poisoning.
I'd rather take my chances on licked ice cream vs. a jar of something tampered with at room temperature.

I'd really rather have neither, but it was just a point I was making.
