That being said, today's final proved to be amazing.

Congrats to the USA team on their 2-0win over a very strong Netherlands team.

Soccer is "football" in the rest of the world. Ironically, the word "soccer" originated in the UK.

The fans and players of this sport are an embarrassment. They are disgusting, hateful people who instead of representing all Americans represented only themselves by turning a sporting event into political theatre.

Much praise to the American women's skills and congrats for winning the World Cup!

That being said however, the way some of the women carried themselves showed very poor sportsmanship. From celebrating a 13th to 0 goal as if it was the winning one, to making a big deal out of not visiting the white house, to sipping air-tea to spite my English neighbours (although this could also be construed as a good bit of fun if meant that way), it all seemed to be in very poor spirit and politicized.

Nonetheless, they are the dominating team on the world stage and probably will be for a good while longer.
