#1 This is a woman who alleges never to have seen a garbage disposer before this year,. She has a history of modern plumbing illiteracy!
#2 Not sure about your assertion these devices were designed for the immediate washing of hands after using the toilet. They are THE standard fixture in prisons, jails & detention centers across America. We don't see them anywhere else here really.
