I laugh my rear end off every year at the struggle between the cops, fire departments and those who want to celebrate with fireworks. The cops try and bust im, the fire departments stand by to put out the fires before they really get going and John Q Public buys im and sets im off. The only people making money are the sellers and the medics who wind up treating the less careful and those who thin the herd.

I live in a semi rural area and just watch the show off my back porch unless it rains. Flag for the thread and thanks...

You cant have those here in socialist controlled California. The authorities will kick down your front door, shoot your dogs and arrest you. If your not careful they will shoot us too

I think I'll use my 4th of july fireworks allotment to buy soap and toothpaste for the kids in cages in Texas. If they can't enjoy the fireworks at least maybe they can brush their teeth.

seeing as this the first year in along time i can afford fireworks.


for years and years heroin stole my money.

so in a way it really is a celebration of my independence, i think ill keep the fireworks and maybe next year get some stuff for kids,

i earned my fireworks.

Yes you did!!

I know the hell of addiction. Blessed to be clean and sober, thanks to taking those positive 12 steps. And also blessed to be financially able to help those less fortunate than myself. I plan on attending our village 4th community celebration at the park, it's modest but beautiful.

Here at home on the 4th you pretty much can go nuts with the fire works as so many people lite em up. However the day before and the day after or any day other than the 4th don't get caught because you are getting a fine. Have fun and don't put your eye out.
