New med has helped me. No more constant cravings for alcohol. And i can have just a few beers, without losing control and drink a million beers. I have been getting things done that i could not have done while wasted. But i am very, very tired. Doctor said it would go away at some point. I am not posting as often as i have previously done, but i will never forget this place, and i will rise to get back into life, and living.

It looks like somebody actually got a pic of me dancing. I'm in the blue.


Here's one of me doing the sneak up. That dance damn near killed me. I really feel it today.

I was surprised that my friend took these. I'm really glad that she did because dealing with a lot of camera equipment was a bit too much for me so I left it all at home.

I'm glad too! You guys must be horribly hot in that clothing. I would be sweating in a sundress while the Natives were in heavy suede. I remember some really hot and humid days at the events.

What was being sold? I have purchased beautiful pieces of jewelry and other items.

Managed to get by today despite having dad around.

I was permitted the honor of driving the car to the therapist today. Dad somewhat realized his mistake but only slightly.

Got some paperwork issues with SNAP corrected today as well. Now I wait for confirmation of the renewal.

As I'm on five meds, most for my heart now, I'm still trying to get use to the lower blood pressure making me feel like I'm sleepy or something.

You know how when you're on youtube and watching things and then you get suggested vids to watch? I don't know how, but I ended up with suggestions for abandoned mansions and then a haunted abandoned 1800's school house and from there ended up watching abandoned gravesites. Oldest grave there was from the 1700s.

Hello. Back from a week away. True Loves birthday an all. Spent time with her parent here. Party, cake and friends. They came up from down south. Then took them to a beach resort yesterday. Steaks and drinking at a pub. Went fishing at dawn on the beach this morning. They left for their home down south and we came back here.

Great 5 days. Not a computer in sight. Just our fishing rods.

It was hot but not so bad. My regalia is cloth so it's at least breathable. I felt bad for the people in buckskin.

Besides food, they had vendors selling beads, flutes, crystals, feathers, knives (I bought a hatchet type thing) hers, and regalia stuff. Plus stuff for kids. I got my friend some dark chocolate peppermint tea and my other friend a crystal for her hair salon for watching the girls when I was gone.

Oh. Well, thank goodness I got to see them at least. Kinda sucks for the rest of the Sheddites though. Where was your camera man?? Gordi must have a camera man/woman at all times so we can capture those magical moments in time eh?

Sounds awesome! I would have bought feathers and crystals and maybe a suede pouch and something beaded. Dark chocolate peppermint tea???? OMG, that sounds delicious! Do you have a flute Skiddy? I never bought a flute. We should get a flute.

Guess what I'm making to go with dinner tonight?

Focaccia bread It's my first try at it, but after numerous successful loaves, hot dog buns, and hamburger buns the other day, I think I can swing it. I've got some parmesan and a some tomatoes to slice & layer on top of it, too. It's going with grilled chicken, and veggies. I haven't decided which veggies yet, though, lol

I'll send the pixies over with a fresh slice when it's ready

We also added a new plant to the fish tank a few days ago, Java Moss. The aim was eventually a carpeted look, like this:

But I've got it secured to a rock for the time being, to try to get it to attach naturally, and think I just might go for tufts of it nestled in the smaller stone substrate instead. I kind of like the bushy look so far. Right now, it kind of looks like this:

I'll have to get a picture of it, and of the Albino Catfish, too (he never sits still, all I get pictures of is a streak going by) When it comes time to trim it, I think I'm going to just affix the trimmings to more stones and get a collection of moss stones going.With enough of them, I could have a pseudo-carpet look in spots

In case any one ask, I'm not here today.

As a matter of fact I'm not anywhere today.

Perhaps it is from being out in 112* weather yesterday. Perhaps it from three nights in a row of unpleasant dreams. Perhaps it my new medication.

My point being, I feel half asleep today with may 50% use of my brain so I'm not functioning well.

Maybe more coffee will help? Nah, that would mean going to make it. I've already spelled tea all over my shirt and pants.
