When will the United States declare war on Iran?

Will it actually (formally) declare war on Iran?

Why would it do this? Justifications? Reasons?

(Several media outlets have today reported that Iran is "days" away from exceeding the uranium stockpile limit outlined in the 2015 deal. If true, what will the US response be?)

Note that this is not a similar atmosphere to the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan which occurred in the years following the September 11th attacks. The Islamic Republic of Iran has not actually directly threatened another nation (strong, hard evidence is lacking of any indirect attacks also) and the 2015 deal no longer had the United States as a party anyway...

Hopefully NEVER. War should always be the very last resort. If you want war there's nothing stopping you from picking up a gun and going to Iran right now!

America has recently expended decades worth of armaments...now another Nation will likely dump its old munitions so they can re-arm.Maybe the USA rides Shotgun this time to keep both hands free.

March 2007

"“We’re Going to Take out 7 Countries in 5 Years: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan & Iran..”

Clearly, Obama was sloppy and not up to the challenge his puppetmasters set for him.

But, if memory serves me right, once global protests in all major cities takes place denouncing any and all attempts by the US government (read: MIC) to invade Iran, the US will give the Ayatollahs 24hrs to leave Dodge or face the consequences.

EXACTLY like what happened in 2003 vis-a-vis Iraq.

They just need a bloody good false flag to kick it off - the tanker attacks were simply too obvious and lame.

I agree that the atmosphere is not similar to Iraq. We were much more naive as a country before the Iraq war. The people of the United States have never had a passion for war, but our leaders sometimes do.

Strange. They bombed the crap out of Libya, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and Yemen in the last few years.

When will the United States declare war on Iran?

Probably when Trumps approval numbers drop down around the mid 30's.

Congress has the authority to bring America to war. The executive branch figured out loopholes so they could enact unconstitutional wars.

I doubt he would be innocent in said hypothetical scenario....

However, he is the symptom of a problem, not the underlying cause. He is dangerous because he is absorbing so much blame for things that have been systemic problems for America. This countries willingness to conduct war regularly has been around well before him, he just got the baton handed to him.

To see what he would do, look at what he accuses others of. Projection seems to be a lifestyle for him.

Like I said, I doubt he would be innocent in the hypothetical case in which conflict arose with Iran.

But I still stand by he is the symptom of the problem. That power should be with congress, not the president.

Event that wouldn't fix it, we as a society need to fix our desensitization towards war. It can't be so trivial. It is one of the biggest causes for our debt.

If we dig deeper, I think that both parties tend to be similar on foreign policy. Both have no shortage of hawks, and yet we still vote them in. Some of these politicians make no effort to hide that hawkishness. And then we have some who pretend to be more isolationist like Obama who promised to end wars and added more conflicts to the docket, and Trump may follow.

Actually the United states declared war on Japan and 4 days later Germany declared war on the United states. Huge mistake for hitler.

One day later the United stated returned the favor on Germany.

If he only knew the mutual aggression pact he signed with the Japanese a short time earlier would have gotten him into this I think he would have passed as they did not discuss their strategy with the Germans.

It's not about declaring war on iran persay, it's about declaring war on the attack of freedom and deprivation of liberty that is constantly threatened and if possible for them implemented across all peace loving people.
Iran is just dangling the latest carrot in what seems like a never ending bunch.

If it wasn't for the mighty USA we'd all be rotting in a hellhole by now wishing we'd stood a post at any and all a-holes door who even hinted at the prospect of takeover or suppression of our way of life.

Our own political correctness is the enemies number 1 weapon against us and they constantly dangle a carrot in front of us to also try to get us to breach our own values. With the infighting in society that we enduldge in this is a war their already winning. They for the most part don't need to get ino actual conflict with us when we're so busy fighting amoungst ourselves.

We have a lot to learn from the latest display of the people of Hong Kong.

No matter what goes down may the USA be the only man standing once the dust settles - for better or worse. (and her allies- thats true allies of course)

The usual suspects cannot stand the rate at which we grow in all Fassetts of life and it's as simple as jealousy eating away at them.

Stuff em all - the enemies, the media, their religions and their warped sense of entitlement.

Time to muzzle these mad dogs whoever and wherever they are, no one wants a war but one way or the other a war there will be. Enemies are constantly making that clear.

It's never a good thing to hit first but i guess sometimes that's the only thing left to do when clearly your options have been exhausted.

I'm a Christian so I'm likely going to hell perhaps for saying this but it's time to give it to them all - yes all of them as as sure as theres s#@t on a donkeys ass one of them will loose patience on us self destructing in tbe very very very near future.

So declare it now and let's get it over with.

Then we can all start finially living in the peace we seek.
