so the other night i was out on the deck smoking and drinking wine chilling out and i see this strange light appear out of nowhere next to a normal star and as i was watching this thing left a luminous yellow trail behind it that persisted for along time. it looked like it came in from space and was slowing down.

after and during this event all of a sudden there was a lot more air traffic than normal

for times sake set your youtube player to play 2x

9:20 has a very interesting part and with my own eyes it looked like something came out from the luminus trail and hit the gas, the trail was a very very strange color and the thing that came flying out was that yellow orange color. it didn't look like space junk or a meteor or any other normal stuff, but looked under control.

start at 4:00 and ends at 10:00 that's why i say watch it at 2x so its only 3mins of actual watch time.

The balls of light people see are definitely something. I grew up watching orange balls of light on the regular in Kentucky. They'd fly around each other, stack up into a straight line, then fly off and come back. In high school we used to sit on the hood of our cars and watch them all the time.

And they aren't anything new. When I told my mom about them she got a weird look on her face and told me how her and my dad used to go out and watch the same thing in the 70s and 80s before I was born.

I'm curious, if by chance, there was a lot of quartz granite and running water in the area.
I have seen these type of lights myself.
I'm leaning towards the possibility of some type of plasma phenomenon.

I think they're some kind of intelligent "extra-dimensional" or spirit being. I've witnessed balls of light on two occasions. One of those was when I was out in this clearing in the woods - these ones were a bluish-green color and a little bigger than softballs. The two of them floated down from the sky into and through the trees for a bit, gently pulsing in and out the whole time, before disappearing. From around where they disappeared, we heard soft bipedal footsteps. As we eventually were leaving, something whistled at us real loud.
I've been away from the area for a few years but I'll be back soon and I'll be going back to that same spot. If something comes out of the sky and whistles at me again, I'm gonna try to interact with it, to hell with the potential danger.

this looked more like aircraft, and the way the light reached out and touched the other one then a few seconds later a small light goes shooting off.

very strange

What is causing that vertical distortion in the image in the left of the frame?

I ask because there's a very distorted image in a vertical line, and just to the left is another vertical line where the image is less distorted. That line extends straight up through the frame where those two lights are doing their thing. It appears to be a clear panel of some kind there in front of the camera creating a lens distortion.

What is that tube that runs vertically upward in center frame and curves to the upper left?

The only truly unexplainable thing I ever SAW was a small yellowishorangish ball of light that shirred past my friends head, along with mine. It crossed our oath as we ran (lept, actually) out of my home as a child.

I've HEARD some strange things befoe, though. Too many, actually.

That's something I thought about too. There's a lot of underground limestone caves all over the place and a lot of underground springs and running water as well.

Something else weird I saw one time while sitting around a nearby lake at night was a smaller version of the same type of lights flying through the tree tops overhead. These were about the size of a baseball.

Yeah there is something going on beneath our feet alright, plus the limestone angle is also another reality when dealing with the lights. Like you say the caves are probably being used by them for some reason, be it they live there or use them as pit stops. Also the water, they need that too. Or live in it. Part of it? Maybe water is more 'alive' than it makes out?

I've thought that maybe they're some kind of intelligent natural phenomenon or maybe some kind of bioluminescent creature that lives underground and comes out at night.

Mammoth cave is less than 30 miles from there and it's the longest known cave system in the world, with most of it being unexplored.

Mammoth Cave National Park preserves the cave system and a part of the Green River valley and hilly country of south central Kentucky. This is the world's longest known cave system, with more than 400 miles (643 km) explored.

Who really knows what is down there.

Thanks for the link
Sounds like a massive cave system, yeah it is rhe perfect place for something underground to be staying then like you say coming out at night. So much below us, it's just the beginning to discover it. Your baseball size orbs is quite intesting btw. Do you have a link to a full on post about them by any chance? Assuming you have some post on them?

I know I've talked about them on here before but it's been a long time and I can't find the posts. It was at Lake Malone.

parks.ky.gov...

It was around midnight and me and a friend were sitting on the porch of a lake house we were at for the weekend. And I notice something above and glance up and there's two baseball sized orbs of light floating around through the tree branches overhead. We watch them for maybe 5 minutes or so and they just fly off through the tree tops around to the other side of the lake.

They moved kind of like a bee would when it's hovering around a flower. Which made me think maybe they're some kind of bioluminescent creature.

They do seem to be intelligent in some way.
I exchanged flashes with a flashlight and they respond in kind.
I didn't feel like they were malevolent in any way.
Quite the opposite to be honest.
