Ok, just go with me here. Of course, everyone thinks Pence will be back but what if, and think about it, what if he changes direction or brings some new blood into the fold?

The Trump Administration has been 'non-political' in it's job openings because in the past it was always 'paying back' with appointments. We have seen with Trump if you are not performing, or your do not fit there needed profile, you will be replaced. So, why not the VP?

Pence is boring. Good marriage. Good record. Not really anything to attack unless you are the fringe. What a perfect pick for a VP slot who will pull the evangelicals and the ultra-conservatives. Those people are still on-board and going nowhere. However, there are certain demographics that could benefit Trump.

He has appointed more woman to judges and cabinet posts than any other president. However, there are those who still do not believe. So, what if in 2020 he decided to go with...

My thought....among others....Nikki Haley?

She was a governor. She was the ambassador to the UN. She is the child of immigrant parents. She also does not take any flack. She is making the rounds with appearances. Her views align with our POTUS and she left on good terms. She even has a new book coming out so people can make judgement. Funny how that happens....

Now, this was my first thought but ATSNN, is there anyone else you think that DJT may peg for VP? He does nothing by the book so why would we think he would not shift gears again? It may very well not happen but what if??????

I agree, I think he’s going to choose a new VP because that’s the kind of thing he does. Change things around and try to do better than before.

Maybe not Haley but definitely some new blood.

One things for absolute certain though. Joe Biden won’t be picking a Vice President

Pence is Trumps insurance against physical assassination. He has no shield for character assassination.
I'm not a solder, but even I understand the usefulness of armor. . .

I do not see a reason for a change.

Pence is a snoozefest. He makes Al Gore's Vice Presidency seem like an ice cream social.

Trump/Paul 2020. Maybe he'll scoop up Rand for a ride in shotgun.

.......Pence will be his vice in 2020.

I don’t see Pence going anywhere in 2020.

But Nikki would not be a bad choice.

Pence is perfect because the left has nothing to gain from impeaching Trump as long as Pence is there.

Paul isn’t a bad choice at all. He knows how to work with both sides of the aisle. He is also someone Trump will listen to.

.......Pence will be his vice in 2020.

edit on 31-5-2019 by willzilla because: Paul wouldn’t be a bad choice either. He knows how to talk to both sides of the aisle and to Trump as well. I voted for him in 16.

Didn't Pence's wife receive a letter at no names funeral?

That could go two ways.......

Gone as a deep state plant or,

Owned as a deep state plant.

If gone, DJT have to pick best person to continue his goals.

Weird. My reply didn’t post for some reason. Anyway, Paul wouldn’t be a bad pick for vp. He knows how to talk to both sides of the aisle and to Trump. Would make a pretty good President too.

Yeah.... did you see all those "best" people go to jail over the past two years?
Or get fired because of a scandal.
Or quit... because of a scandal.

Yeah he's a stable genius when it comes to selecting staff.
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!

She polls badly amongst white evangelicals. Trump needs a VP like pence to take that section of the vote as he is a filaderer and cant carry their vote on his own.

Pence is perfect for Trump. Trump's opposition have dug just as hard into Pence as VP and are just as frustrated. Pence has been politically smart. He will not allow himself to be alone with another woman. There is no chance for any misunderstandings to be misconstrued.

Pence is patient. He will wait and run in 2024. Pence looks on Trump as similiar to Teddy Roosevelt. Has said this comparison himself. He has seen Trump's determination and energy in making the Presidency more than a puppet branch.

Personally, I came to vote for Trump after the VP debates. Not because I agree or like Pence, but I appreciated that Trump partnered with someone who had no problem stating when he disagrees. Kaine came off as a total lap dog and kook.

They are a proven winning combination, so Trump best keep him.

I voted for the best vice president in the last election, I really did not like Trump or Hillary that much. I figured that both would be assassinated if they won. I like Pence, if he is gone, I will still vote for the Republican because I think the whole Democratic party has gone nuts these days. I do not think the ones calling the shots in the House have the best interests of our citizens in mind. So it is straight Republican this year, and I feel a lot of people are switching over as I am since the Democrats have been compromised by their hate.

Kaine came off as a total chaotic jerk to me, I hated his smirking. I would never vote for him for anything, the majority of the people of his state actually voted Republican because they knew he was not a good to have in the White House.

Why would Trump get rid of a vice president who has pretty much been silent on most things, barely been in the news, barely been seen outside of the white house basically he has the hermit of a vice President why would he want to give him the boot and bring someone else in who might not be so silent? Nah stick to Pence at least that way the idea of Trump being impeached would be harder because most people including Pence (most likely) wouldn't want Pence as Pres. Although maybe the left think that if Trump gets the boot it would somehow get Hillary into the White House lol.

You should do an Internet search. VP Pence is in the news quite frequently. He is flitting about all over the place and shockingly speaking his personal truths. Personally, I loved it when he told off the Venzuelan Ambassador at the UN. More recently, his dealings with Trudeau.

it only seems like the news isn't reporting on him due to the overwhelming mass biased publications against Trump tweets. Yet, Pence has proven that he can carry his own balls quite well too.

You really want to change things up?

Bring in a moderate Democrat...🤔

Somewhat like a Tulsi Gabbard...she's not ever going to get the Dem nomination.

Goodness, the meltdown would be EPIC!!!...and amusing.

I like the idea of a Moderate on the ticket with him. I'm on the edge of voting for Trump this time.

Tulsi though, if you look at her site, is right in line with the DNC platform. Talks Moderate but is she?

Still it would be good if he found a moderate among his Republican options.
