Personal past experience over a decade ago so I honestly do not know if it is the same but want to share and yes, rant out of frustration:

Semis from Chicago arrive, parks at the back docks, driver opens up the back of trailer and illegal migrants exit. Drivers never like to waste gas on an empty trailer. It is inefficient.

Farmers chose them like they are a commodity. Those farmers do sell their produce for less at market.

My family was making early deliveries for orders Pre-sold. Often, we would have to go early, so we could return home reload and make second trips. Our produce was higher priced but we were committed to being honest and giving the buyers the best. It was rare for us not to Pre-sell.

Illegal migrants often do not have the same pride in their work that legal migrants do. Often times, they cannot be sure they will even receive the full amount that is offered and they are too scared to report since they would be deported as well.

The buyers at the market, realize this and many have learned that paying a little more for properly harvested produce is cheaper in the long run, especially when it has to be shipped across the nation. Since by the time they have to sell to the consumer, the losses they have incurred in quality and quantity make the cheap purchase more expensive then the other.

Illegal undocumented migrants are not needed nor helpful as portrayed. It is better for them, the farmers, businesses, and consumers, for them to be documented and gain a legal visa to work in America.

Logic dictates that if tariffs did not hurt Mexico or their exports Mexico would never have cared in the first place to have them removed.

It just makes me angry since many of the modern migrants crossing illegally are misinformed and denied the truth. Not all are criminals, but due to deceit by the left, as soon as they cross the border illegally they will be tarnished. Ripe pickings to be abused.

The head supervisor on our farm came to America using work visa, he is still here since having his documented record provided an easier path to receiving his citizenship!

You do know that there is an old truism in politics that says when there is a shift in one direction (ie to the right in ths instance), the pendulum ALWAYS swings back in the other direction.

Yes, we want to keep the status quo on the electoral college. Liberals want to change it so that they control every election from here on out. Even if a state's voters choose Trump, the liberals want the state's votes to go to Democrats.
