Still the only GOP Rep Amash to call for Trumps impeachment, held a town hall where he was overwhelmingly supported by his constituents. A few Trump supporters did speak, but Amash stands on his record. Doesn't look like he has anything to worry about in a primary challenger. He didn't rule out a presidential run.

Ah, things are starting to clear up a bit. Usually happens when the mud puddle is left alone long enough.

Neither of the reports i read mention anyone mentioning his company with ties to China...or how he was silent until the China trade talks began.

Interesting omission!!???
He's an embarrassment to those who voted for him.

I watched it and he got a standing o.

Those on the right trying so hard to argue against the obvious support that he is getting from republicans in his district make me think they are worried.

I don't agree with impeachment though. Not this close to the 2020 election.

Whats crazy is that if this guy (or any repub) runs for potus in 2020 they would most likely pull enough votes away from trump so that the dem wins. Not every repub is a trumpster after all. You know that ted cruz and his voters are just waiting for their time to strike.

I think it's one of the only things that could lose it for trump. And I didn't think we would see any repubs even flirting with the idea let alone a popular( in his district and with dems) repub pushing impeachment and talking about running!

Dont be so sure. I was a Cruz guy in the primary, then hitched my wagon to Trump for the general. Right now, it would take an act of God to prevent me from voting for the man after all he has been put through.

And what do you think a third party candidate would do to all the disenfranchised dems out there?
Folks who might not vote repub, but are tired of the myopic dems legislators who do not represent truly them????

Trump was a disliked weak candidate that won against a even more disliked weak candidate. A good strong candidate could win it all,

That would be Mr. Amash if he were to attempt to run.
He's not really a republican from what I can see....more like a libertarian.
