And the brown man and yellow man and purple man and any other color you can think of rape the land and take just like the "white man" but you keep blaming the one, instead of the all, you don't build anything but your own hate.

Go to any city and tell me it's "white men" that are the only ones who've commited evils, you'd have to blind yourself to truely believe that.

If you want to believe you are above any descruction of the planet because of what you come from instead of what you are you've doomed your children to live in the world you lash out against, as heratige means nothing to Mother Earth.

Aztecs and Incans didn't fair so well from the Invaders huh?

Read a book.

Aztec...Incan....Indian...Caucasian...Neanderthal...Cro-Magnon....Homo-NovaDouglas…..these are all simply placeholder names for the people who are the footprints of humanity....there can be no such thing as invaders....remember everyone has equal rights to Mother Natures embrace. No invaders...no winners or losers.....just People who adapt and People who go extinct.

The Aztecs and Incans are remembered here...so they fared quite well in the eyes of history IMHO.

The Aztecs used to routinely cut the beating hearts out of captives from skirmishes, or anyone they decided to sacrifice, and used to skin their enemies alive an wear their skins. They had a brutal ruling class that subjugated farmers and people of lower rank in their society. They werent benign "noble savages" as they are sometimes portrayed. Mesoamerica has one of the bloodiest histories in world history and it didn't start with the conquistidors. Maybe you should crack a book as well.

So that means you are giving them time to set up their territories before you call non warring? How can they gain a territory to be their own it if not by taking it in war?

Does that make sense that people don't just get land for no fight at all do they?

The Iroquois nation were good at protecting the land the 7 tribes occupied.

We're talking about people who arrived on the continent at least a millenia ago. To my awareness, we do not know all the details of those migrations or the acquisition of lands. But we do know from numerous sources that some tribes lived in relative peace (although the full range of human interaction can be found, just as any polity).

www.plumascounty.us...

I'm not arguing that all tribes were peaceful, and I concede that some were downright belligerent.

Bickering aside, we've digressed from the topic direction of Earth changes.

As a child, I remember watching astronauts go into space in the 1960's...and one of the 1st things said about seeing Earth from out in space stuck with me.

They said looking down from orbit, was that there were no borders of countries seen from space like a on a map or globe.

We all are Humanity itself. Pray for Mother Earth to heal, and for all of us to realize the need.

She will repair herself in time...but if we dont? She will do it when we've gone.

Peace to all at ATS.- M.S.

In my lifetime the population of the world has doubled. I haven't been here that long. The amount of pollution we create is having an effect on the planet.

We had to close our beaches on parts of the great lakes for manorial weekend. E Coli levels were too high to swim. We're dumping raw sh*t into the great lakes. Have you seen what India looks like lately? Have you see the amount of air pollution in China? Have you seen time lapsed satellite footage of the amount of pollution China is spewing into the atmosphere?

The Amazon rain forest are the lungs of the earth. We're chopping it down at an unprecedented rate.

Must be shifting magnetic field right?

How does E Coli for "manorial" day have anything to do with new critters showing up in the Yukon? I really would like to know

I guess you missed where I said:

Most of what we do to harm the Earth is hurting us a lot more. The Earth can recover from mankind pretty easy with all the time she has. Mankind on the other hand will not have it so easy.

What's amazing is that we still haven't figured out global warming and cooling cycles. Its not evenly spaced (like 100k years cool, 10k years warm, repeat) because there are multiple factors involved. Solar activity, orbital eccentricity, axial tilt/obliquity), and whether we're at perihelion/aphelion/in-between (distance from Earth to sun) in winter in the Northern Hemisphere.

These things together determine glacial periods and interglacials. The science is still relatively young, but in all of the studies and research papers I've read, the ones that seem to have the best analysis pegthe next glaciation in the 10k yeats away range.

I feel for your people, but the victor always writes...or re-writes, the history.

Many Moons ago, before the white eyes invaded the land and spoke with fork tongue, the ancestors walked from Northern Asia, to Northern America...either via an ice shelf, or a land trail, because of subsided oceans, due to the Ice age.

Yes, the land will always change.....if you give it enough time.

Though we forget about it, the Continental plates are still moving....we just dont live long enough to see much of it.

We were told by people who are experts at translating scientific studies ten years ago that if we didn't have drastic changes in energy usage over the next five years the world would go down the path of no return. We're five years past that mark.

We didn't adapt those drastic changes.

Therefore, according to the words of the Climate Change Religion itself, we need to focus on adapting to a hot world rather than trying to make it cooler. The chance at cooling the planet died, ceased to be, five years ago. We need to move on, the planet will naturally keep getting hotter from here on out and there's nothing we can do to cool it. The cat is out of the bag. The milk has been spilt. We focus on adapting to a hotter planet or we die.

You mean to tell me they did not oh so graciously record each and every sin they committed for us to examine and pick through at leisure, like the Europeans did?

Smart.

For all we know they genocided an entire race of people but they were smart and realized "you know, this Probably isnt going to look too good in the future if people go poking around... maybe we just dont write this part down... also, go ahead and uh, leave out the raping and the human sacrifice while you're at it... You know what? Screw it. Just don't write down anything. If it's important enough to remember, its worth committing to memory."
