That's the thing. There are some videos on his channel that are a bit interesting and might be worth viewing.

However, I might need to sort through the clickbait crap he puts out there in order to find the interesting content. And as I muddle my way through that clickbait crap and over-sensationalized titles to find a worthwhile video, he profits from me being subjected to that crap.

The problem for him is that the worthwhile videos are usually less cack-baity and less likely to make money for him.

I do not think it's click bait at all. I have watched his videos, and I never get the sense that they are misleading, hence the reason youtube activated his account again.

There are loads of click bait videos in youtube. A lot of them showing things that are not even in the video. That is click baiting.

Yes, his titled can be strong, but they need to be if you want views. Do not have a strong title, then chances are your views will not be as high.

I have had a YouTube channel, which I gave up on. Don't think people realise how hard it is to get views. If you have a boring title, boring thumbnails, then you are going to struggle with views.

This is a site wide issue that started after the "ad-pocalypse", Youtubers on every level are getting hit with demonitization for the littlest things, even the big ones complain about it all the time. My friends who do motorsports related videos have gotten hit with em too. Its major issue with the site.

Jeez...

You just sound jealous someone else capitalized and was able to deliver content in a marketable way. You can talk smack but seems like you just can't compete and prefer to be bitter and jaded that you aren't the successful one.

Too bad it's 2019 and things keep going forward not backwards. I don't think you understand what plagerism is, or original content is either for that matter. But hey, a hater gonna hate.

No way of supporting your family? You could go get a job. Thats what i did and like magic my bills are getting paid. Are you saying your only skills are posting and investigating ufo videos and relying on youtube for a living? No backup plan? I mainly feel bad for your family for relying on someone who sees no other way to make money.

I don't watch his channel, so the fact that he does, or does not, earn money for his regurgitation doesn't mean a whole lot.

But I see your point.

You feel bad for his family? You sound lime someone who is a little bit jealous if his success if you ask me!

No it is not borderline censorship, it is absolute censorship. Yet there are some dodgy vids on YouTube that sexualise or corrupt kids yet even after numerous complaints, they are not demonitised or taken down. Tells you a lot about where YouTube is at.

Youtube is a private company is it not? They can choose how to enact their own T's and C's however they wish, that doesn't make it censorship, since when has a private company choosing to exercise its own rules counted as censorship?

If you like, but it's not censorship if it's a private company, they are allowed to make such decisions.

When a lot of companies like youtube being told to clamp down on fake news, then it is censership. Does not matter if they are a private company or not.

Facebook has also cracked under this pressure banning a lot of pages and people from facebook. So you can shout private company all you like, still does not change the fact that this is censership.

Well, of course if it is because of blatant censorship. Have you not heard of the First Amendment?

One has to wonder why YouTube did this? A plot just to gauge the weight of the response?

On the face of it there’s was no reason for this guy to be demonetized. No reason on earth. Therefore, one might conclude, since we know YouTube is close to the secret boys, maybe some kind of test.

Also, YouTube had to know this would happen, with the number of subscribers he has and his apparent popularity.

Right, it's censorship, just so you know.

And no, not really, Facebook and other sites have been told that they aren't immune from facing charges if they allow posts to break actual laws..... as in showing graphic pictures of self harm and suicide. That is so not the case here, so why are you trying to draw a parallel?

Oh here we go! Picking out spelling mistakes! How origional!

So you think that facebook are just censoring graphic pictures of self harm and suicide? Seriously? So people like Alex Jones, Tony Robinson were banned because of this? Simple fact is, they are coming down hard on free speech, non mainstream media. Even David Icke was banned from entering Austrailia to do a speech.

Love them or hate them, do you think that is right?

Where will it stop? Maybe this very forum, and forums like it will get shut down because there are threads that involve anti government, hate, fake news, conspiracies etc

Can you not seriously see the problem here?

You mean Tommy Robinson don't you? Not aware of a Tony Robinson causing this. or are you thinking of the actor who played Baldrick? Blocking of Tommy Robinson AKA Saxley-Lennon is because (I believe) of extreme far right views and inciting hatred and violence. You got an issue with that? If so, take that up with the T's and C's of Facebook which ban it.

Free society, Facebook and other social media outlets don't have to host the views of fakers or scum or anyone else. We laugh when some say the UK is socialist, it's not, media outlets have every right to control whose views are represented on their channels, although some don't seem to give too much thought to it.

I agree, it's not click bait. The funny part about that claim is that on every forum, including this one, there are ads that lead to clickbait sites. Also, secureteam's youtube channel has been "remonitized" i think as of yesterday.

It's called free speech!

You just do not get it do you! So basically, what you are saying is its fine, as long as it involves people you do not like. Like i said, which you blatantly ignored, it's all about free speech, but not just that, alternative media will be effected by this too. These "private companies" have had a lot of pressure from the top to clamp down on fake news, media, anything that goes against the normal.

Let me ask you again, and please answer this time. What if ATS was shut down because it is full of threads that include conspiracies, alternative media, anti government etc

You think that would be ok?
