Comfort for survivors of child Sex Abuse

As I am among such I feel I can speak of it.

Never felt hatred toward any human. Less toward those who abused me.

I know they harmed me. I know they messed me up mentally.

I know it has affected my entire life. Even though I wanted to ignore it. And wanted to act like it didn't happen.

And no, I did not become a child abuser. I never was. And never will be. I am a man who was sexually abused as a child.

No human should go through what I have gone through.

You know, when I grew up, and finally got the courage I confronted my abusers and said, I know what you did, and I don't hate you. I just want you to tell me that you are sorry for what you did. That is all I want to hear. That is all. That you know what you did and you are sorry. And I expected to hear the words, I'm sorry. No. I heard...no...my dad never told me so I found out for myself, and I will never be sorry for it.

That is 100% truth in your face.

No reason or way I can make this up.

I know there are many others out there like me. Many.

I think that the majority of us have been abused. I believe that. Am I wrong?

Was way too young to report anyone. That is not the point of this post though. I hope you get the justice you are deserved as well.

This is an issue that certainly requires much more attention.

Wickedness of this nature will never face the scrutiny that it deserves; peoples hearts fail them.

Lest the light be cast upon this darkness, it will endure unrestrained.

Whom better to reveal the sins of the fathers, than the victims of their evils.

Countless among us are stuck in that moment of abuse indefinitely.

For this sin, there is no forgiveness.

For these offenses, there is no comfort.

A mighty mountain would rise from the depths of the sea, piled high above the waters, with the corpses of those whom have offended the least of those among us.

That our current system exists to protect these most repugnant, is beyond reprehensible; a fundamental split from that which is reasonable and justified.

Too many babies are brought into this world for selfish gain.

Too many "men" are having babies whom frankly, should never.

Too many of these unfortunate souls are thrust into not only a world that would seem to not care, but a family environment that is unstable, unloving and unprepared to provide a proper upbringing for our future selves.

The sins of the father must stop with someone, somewhere along this progression of our species.

We all must express self control and restraint throughout our lives.

Nothing will change lest we change ourself.

We determine the paths of the future, now.

Those whom seek to devour the innocent will be devoured.

Our friends and family, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters held captive will be set free.

It’s a horrific reality and a few people I am close to have suffered such, little I can say and can do but be friends
One lady told me a person she hardly knew said he wished he could kill her abuser, it made her feel good, another was told, “ if only I could change time I would go back and rescue you”. Love compassion and empathy.

Don’t you think it strange you link the Jehovah Witness watchtower magazine, produced by an organisation who still covers up and protects child sexual abusers?

Your God is a God of justice? The whole Old Testament is about humanity serving justice on others and yet you deny these victims justice, how?

Every current religion is about sex and other stuff, never about justice. Any church represents the same 'church' that crucified Jesus lol

You can all still do you know? There is no reason to not do it these days, no matter how much time passed or who he is

All modern organized religions hide away the fact that they rape and accept rape as a normal situation between nasty old mans and kids. We are seeing this day by day, this is all proven!

Religion is corrupted and nasty, it lives out of sex abuse and there are a few preachers who call them out and those are sent away as soon as they talk. Stop lying, religion is evil, and it represents what you all call 'Satan'

So since it's a proven fact all religions are hiding and approve of sex abuse against children. Are you in agreement those religions must go away and all the 'fathers' must be put in jail if proven guilty of rape or helping and pretending not to know about the rapes (which most of them are, as we know)

Your words, you are after justice by trying to practice it or by trying to destroy it because it harms religion and religion above anything else?

I won't go into it for personal reasons plus not wanting to share details that would make most people squirm but I do get what you are talking about and the damage that it can do to people. Its a life long issue that even the arrest of the person who did it doesn't help. It continues to effect you every day in every way, from relationships to social events everything. I mean I know people can be sympathetic to the victims of abuse but they forget that the person being thrown into prison (which is rare if it happened more than ten years ago - under high profile or has media attention) it is mind altering, can affect the way you think about yourself for decades to come.
