Looks Like Finally AOC did Something Good

If true, we have to admit this is a totally unexpected good action. Nobody should be against it, regardless it was her to do that. The price of this medicine in Australia is 8 bucks. The drug was developed with taxpayer funds. We the people funded the invention of the molecule of this medicine and 4 clinical trials to test its efficacy.

Gilead CEO Daniel O’Day faced scathing questions at a House hearing Thursday, with Democrats demanding answers on how the drug manufacturer could charge $1,700 a month for an HIV prevention drug discovered through taxpayer-funded research.

Is she finally learning from her mistakes or her other personality took over?

Is it a pre elections propaganda trying to make Democrats look nice or she actually cares about this issue?

We need to see a lot of more good actions by democrats before we start believing in them again, they are too damaged by their own actions since Obama.

Good for her. If taxpayers are funding the research and development of something, then it damn well better be readily available and reasonably priced to the taxpayers.

I don't doubt AOC has her heart in the right place. She's just young and incredibly niave.

Drugs in Japan are super cheap. Americans are really getting ripped off by drugs that have been financed by the tax payer in America for its research.

I think AOC is a plant. I just have not figured out who has planted her.

Her idiotic nature is fun but just occasionally, as in this case, she drops the act and comes out guns blazing.

In the last few seconds she aims the whole question at President Trump but she still made her points very clearly.

It's kind of like that here in Japan. The Medical Universities work with the drug companies and everyone benefits. The Universities keeps the patient, and not the researcher which is weird though.

I think the cleanup will come from President Trump.

I don't think he cares much for either DNC or GOP. He knows they both suck but going with the Repubs, he had less initial cleanup to do.

Do you remember the number of both houses that did not stand in the 2018 elections. He cleaned and probably still is cleaning the Repubs, but the Dems don't want to just fade into the night.

They will rue that decision.

President Trump will likely play some 4D chess with he industry before he rips it a new arsehole to allow that portion of the swamp to drain.

My wife is a cancer survivor and we fought together that crap about 8 years ago and still doing that. I couldn't buy a house yet. You know what I mean....
