Monsanto to Pay $2 Billion in Weed Killer Cancer Case

The first few hours of Coast to Coast was all about Monsanto's lawsuits and the health effects from using their seeds and herbicides. I was late to the show as I have just returned home but to say the guest tore into Monsanto and their products would be an understatement. Lawsuits are like Mosquitoes around Monsanto's ears looking for a meal.

Something I did catch and was kinda familiar with (but nothing like I heard tonight) were the farmers in India who planted GMO seeds and lost everything.. There were 250,000+ (two hundred and fifty thousand !) that committed suicide when the crops did not preform as advertised... They borrowed money to buy the seeds and could not pay back the loans..

there are people on this board who are Monsanto fanboys. I wont name names...I wonder what is their take on this.
