Hey all,

Any ATS'ers with an interest in the UFO scene remember a UK UFO series from the last 10 or so years, think it only had around 4 episodes, was possibly based on the MOD files released, I'm thinking maybe it aired on channel 4 or possibly BBC 4

Correcting for memory, I think some cases covered included a Spanish/Portuguese jet fighter encounter, a Mediterranean angel hair case/possibly mentions UFO activity causing electrical short circuits in a town. I might possibly be overlapping other UFO programs here, but should help narrowing down the list.

I'm looking for the name of the show

Last original one I've seen in the last few years was the Shaun Ryder UFO 4 part series.

Something else to watch at least.

Additionally, having watched so many, I may have confused some of this with what I am looking for though, it may have aired even within last 5 years, and it covered European cases, I cannot find it anywhere.

I'm specifically asking because it covered more obscure cases such as the Spanish/Portuguese jet fighter incident.

My best guess it that it was aired on BBC 4, and then got totally pulled from existence. Forget the based on MOD released files bit, it wasn't a UK case specific show

Certainly not

- A UFO sighting in Florence, October 28, 1954, followed by a fall of angel hair.
- Spanish Manises UFO incident in 1979.

As memory serves me correctly, it covered at least 1 if not both of the cases above

Was it NatGeo's UFOs the Untold Stories?

Star for the effort but not it, wasn't US narrated and was a one off series, only 4/5 episodes

Sometimes remembering one of the speakers helps for these. It's easy enough to check filmography with imdb and Wikipedia. Do you recall anyone from the investigative team or any guest speakers? Nick Pope perhaps? Guys like that.

Could it be National Geographic's "UFO Europe" series?

I really liked that. Have it recorded also.

Chances are I've already tried whatever you may suggest and I still cannot find it, and I also generally try and avoid Nick Pope, amazing how some people get paid to say the same things ad infinitum

This series was different because it didn't cover the usual cases, it had re-enactments on European cases, and unfortunately no, can't remember the team behind it.

Like the UFO subject itself, I'm beginning to question as to whether this series existed

Some cases sound familiar, do you know when it aired in the UK? And is it a UK narrator? Is there a case in there from the Med in which a town loses power in the midst of a UFO wave?

Additionally, did it cover any of the cases I previously mentioned including the UFO seen over a packed stadium in Florence, Italy in 1954?

Don't be too hasty. You might want to revisit it.

It's difficult to find a European version on Youtube but the original narration for NG Europe was in a British accent.

I'd explore it a bit more because it definitely covered lots of European cases and ran for about 6 episodes. The Shaffner and Bob Taylor case from the UK. Strange electrical fires caused by a UFO in Sicily. Many others from around Europe and this strange cigar shaped UFO seen over Italy before WWII. In fact there wasn't a single American case in there.

There were other series UFOs DeClassified which aired on Yesterday. Plus some rather bad shows like Alien Encounters, Unsealed Alien Files and also one called UFOS the Lost Evidence. But they all retained American or Canadian narrators.

Good luck if those suggestions aren't what you were looking at.

What you say here has potential, I will take a closer look

I agree, it's not any of them and a lot were bad.

Recently re-watched the Peter Jennings hosted UFO's: Seeing is Believing, that has a lot of good stuff in it

nvm it was from 96..

Was this a full show broken into episodes? I know that ch4/bbc like to drag out shows for views.

It's the same documentary series, and compared to a ton of other ones, there's actually a lot of interesting cases with an equal balance of witness/investigator and skeptic views included

Additionally, first part of this is interesting also:
