A sovereign nation hasn't attacked us since WWII. We've failed most of the wars post WWII. What are they using to measure success? Targets hit successfully?

Are you telling me that Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and Syria were all successes?

If we're not attacked, is it worth sacrificing hundreds of thousand of our young and letting domestic efforts take a back seat to war efforts?
