IMO, historians will slam Democrats of this era for (at least) 2 reasons.

1.) President Barack Obama, his cabinet, and Democrats in Congress were so prolific with SPYING on both Americans and leaders of other nations for 8 years, there is actually an entire Wiki page devoted to their intrusions of privacy.

Obama Admin spied on....everyone:

2.) Democrats in Congress, Democrats running for President, and the Democrat-owned U.S. News Media, want every aspect of President Trump's life and life-history investigated. Unbelievably, they are looking for a reason to have this tremendously successful U.S. President forced out of office!

It really is remarkable to hear Democrats talk about what a "disaster" President Trump is when he has had, objectively, the most successful first two years in the history of the U.S. presidency.

Only if you hate America, can you hate this presidency.

Democrat leaders in our government have spied on millions of Americans, Republican Presidential candidates, World Leaders, and tried to remove a sitting U.S. President. One of the most successful Presidents for the USA, and its Citizens...EVER.

In your opinion, how will history book writers, and historians, word their description of this era's Democratic leaders?

Have 2009 thru 2020 Democrats accomplished enough good things, to significantly compensate for the horrendous negatives?

" The decade of collapse" almost a democrat cliché.

The cliche that history is written by the victors is very true.

How history treats the Dems and by extension the deep state will depend on our actions over the next few years.

If we continue to vote for them and accept their abuses of power then history will be kind, the other option involves lots and lots of rope, huge street parties and a not kind view.

Bring on the day of the rope I say

Comey, McCabe, Strzok and the rest of the peanut gallery .Bet their reputations that Hillary would win and history/ the justice system would be kind to them .

Every liberal acted without shame because they thought they would be the ones writing the history .

How did that work out ?

A victory in 2020 guarantees they will all look like Benedict Arnold .

That is the "what". The WHY and HOW will be damning.

Good analysis of potential contrast. I hope future historians are HONEST. If so, your wish will most likely be the reality.

The names of Pelosi , Schumer , Obama , and so many others will be praised as great leaders who brought about the United Socialist Republic of America.

If Hillary had WON, even the Obama "I Spy" Wiki page would not be there. Hillary would have had it forcibly removed by now. We might be in the middle of World War III too.

I'm more interested to see what psychology books will have to say about modern Democrats.

Talk about a field ripe for research.

Has anyone thought what will happen if the democrats don't survive ? those same people will likely be the cause of regional civil wars. California nuts are emboldened enough, as is Washington and Oregon, maybe NY too. Something productive has to become of the party or it's going to war.

I was hoping Hillary would run again. Then the first paragraph of her wiki page, would say “lost to Donald Trump ”twice” .

I imagine they'll be right up there with Hitler. Imagine being responsible for the death of thousands and thousands of babies. Sick, disgusting human beings.

What they say about the Democrats will be lumped in with the disgrace both your parties have brought to America in the 21st Century , neither party has clean hands.
Will the Obama Democrats be judged more harshly than Bush era Republicans ? , somehow I doubt it.

Who writes the history books??

College professors, academics, scientists, exc..

Well all of those fields are dominated by liberals.

There is no chance the history books remember trump as better than Obama..

history will judge Obama next to Bush jr. and trump.

Bush had the totally disastrous Iraq war and trump has just been a total laughing stock..

Obama has no scandal bigger than Bush Jr. and Trump’s scandals..

And conservatives are in the minority in pretty much every academic field.. so how are they supposed to control the history books??

Your absolutely right about questioning “who wil write the history”...

And science and academia are dominated by liberals..

So how in the world would a conservative world view be the dominance view of history in America??

It won’t..

There is zero chance trump is remembered as anything but a disaster..

Relative to Bush Jr. and trump (the presidents that book end Obama) Obama will look like lincoln historically..

Obama wasn’t a Lincoln, but when you are standing between literally 2 of the worst presidents in history it isn’t hard to look good.. lol

Trumps own Inspector general report , the muller report and every other official release from the trump administration has agreed on 2 things..

A) Hillary Clinton should not have been charged with a crime over the Email thing..

B) there is zero evidence that ANYONE falsified ANY evidence concerning the trump campaign..

Trump and the gop ran EVERYTHING for trumps first 2 years..

Every federal law enforcement branch is headed by a trump appointee...

There is no scenario where there is evidence people committed crimes against trump and trump is just choosing not to prosecute them..

Trump successfully prosecuting comey, Clinton or anyone else would be instant vindication... so why isn’t he doing that??

Because there is no evidence so he can’t.

Of course not..

Presidents are judged relative to those who violent them..

Not relative to every president in history..

Trump and bush have and will continue to make Obama look like a Lincoln
