Democrats launch probe into 'unprecedented' Trump firings at Homeland Security

Democrats flipping out because Trump has been firing and re-arranging the DHS lately !!

A short time ago they were calling out the DHS for not doing what the Democrat policies wanted.

And remember they were calling for harassment of Cabinet officials and many were in fact heckled and hooted in restaurants.

DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was harassed in a (of all places) Mexican restaurant 😆

Now all-of-a-sudden Democrat "Leaders" in the House are oh-so worried Trump's recent re-arrangements are a threat to National Security 😆

They just can't make up their minds but they are great at making up stories 😆

Dems launch probe into 'unprecedented' Trump firings at Homeland Security

Three top House Democrats on Thursday launched an investigation into what they described as “unprecedented firings” at the Department of Homeland Security.

House committee chairmen Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) and Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) wrote a letter to acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan demanding communications related to the departure or potential departure of former Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, former Secret Service Director Randolph Alles and other officials.

“We are deeply concerned that the firing and forced resignation of these officials puts the security of the American people at risk,” the lawmakers wrote. “We are also concerned that the President may have removed DHS officials because they refused his demands to violate federal immigration law and judicial orders.”

The reasons for these firings are public knowledge.

The more pointless investigations they launch, the less actual legislation they actually do. So in that respect, I'd rather have them doing this sort of grandstanding.


With all the Declassifiaction of Docs that will be coming, they will be treading water in a maelstrom and none of them are good swimmers and I'm out of life preservers to toss to them.

While the Dems play Whack-a-Mole, Trump is fine-tuning a machine that has been broken and barely operational. As he said last night at his rally, it's like a giant web all intertwined. It has been malfunctioning for a long time, and by the time he gets through arranging, re-arranging, testing, and tuning, we might finally have a honest-to-gosh working system.

Anybody that has ever run a business, a department, a project, etc. knows you have to have the right people doing the right things at the right time. Sometimes changes have to be made if somebody is gumming up the works.

Democrats are ignoring the serious cyber threats outlined in the Mueller report. Yesterday, FBI Director Wray said CHINA is more serious of a threat than Russia, in this area.

The Dems can't jeopardize the $$$ they are being paid by China for access to Top Secret stuff, can they?

They will investigate everything about Trump and Trump appointees. That is the first and only campaign promise that any Democrat Congresspersons have kept maybe in all of time.

What is it exactly about Trump that lives so furiously in their heads? My personal opinion is this is top down warfare from the Clintons since they have defacto OWNED the DNC since Clintons time in the whitehouse and they really fear Trump and what he is doing. They never feared Bush's because the Bush's are in the same sort of criminal arrangements as they are. Trump must KNOW too much and is willing to "take over" or something.

It's because they have no hooks into him at all. Unlike many of the other candidates, he is not a political lifer, and has not sold his soul to them yet. SO, they have no leverage over him, and that scares the living daylights out of them. So, they need to attack and denigrate him and anyone that supports him to protect themselves from his decisions.


Like any animal, when cornered, they lash out.

Would someone please wake me when the dems decide to actually do something productive, even if it's something really small I want to see it. I've never seen such a lame and worthless party as the dems current configuration. This is a perfect example that they have nothing better to do but waste millions of taxpayer dollars. This is similar to constantly investigating why you keep shooting yourself in the foot.
